Boy Meets Girls:

TV Guide: by Ari Karpel Stars Hollow is in for some trouble. "I'm not really a jerk. I'm not really the nicest guy either", Milo Ventimiglia says of his character, Jess, the new addition to the WB's Gilmore Girls (Tuesdays 8PM/ET). Jess moves in with his uncle Luke in Stars Hollow, and his "bad-ass intellectual rebel thing" appeals to Rory-but not to many others in town: "My character's very sickened by the whole small-town environment." It seems, though, that Ventimiglia, 24, is swiftly navigating the small-environment of the series' set. When he arrived, wary cast members asked how long he'd be staying. "I held up two fingers," He reports. "They said, 'Oh, two episodes,' and I said, "No I'm here for two years,' Then people were willing to know me better."
