Chapter 1

"Thank you and goodnight." Aj grabbed Nick and Brian's hand, as he did a bow with the rest of the Backstreet Boys. Pyrotechnics started going off as the boys made their ways backstage. It was another night in Texas, the next stop Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The tour was just starting off and Aj were already starting to get tired of touring. Maybe it was because Kevin seemed to be having gas the last couple nights and they couldn't sleep from the stench. Or maybe it was because Nick and Brian had already practically eaten all the junk food and the only things left to eat was dill pickles. Whatever it was, Aj really needed to get some fresh air from all this.

Aj went backstage and got some water.
'Atleast we still got some water left,' He joked to himself.
Nick came up behind aj, jumping on his back. "Give me a piggy back ride."

"Nick get OFF of MY Back," Aj yelled, pushing Nick off of his back. He started rubbing the spot on his back where Nick had so rudely jumped on. Aj made a face. "Great, now I am going to have to go to the doctors to see if my back bones are still intact, I think I heard one crack." Aj  jokingly said, turning around to see NIck had left to pester some one else. "Guys, I am heading out" Aj yelled, grabbing his keys to his new jaguar and heading out the Back door, "I will be back later, k" he said, without waiting for any response.

He jumped in the car and pulled out. "Time to go to a club" Aj made a right to the new club in town. In a short amount of time, the club was said to be one of the best around Texas. Of course, there wasn't many clubs to begin with in Texas but still.

Aj cranked up the music, turning to 95.7 KTBY. Linkin Park's "In The End" began to play, and AJ began singing along with the radio. "But in the end it doesn't even matter; I tried so hard and got so far..." Aj's soulful voice began to fill the air. He made a stop at the stop sign and waited until it was clear. Making the last right to the club, he pulled in the parking lot, and turned the ignition off.

Aj made his way to the club. This was his escape; Ever since his grandmother had died it was what seemed to consume most of the night for him. Sure it wasn't the best thing, but it got Aj off the bad things in his head and cleared it. The boys had sat down with him about three weeks ago and asked him to try and lay of the alcohol, but it was way to hard to do.

As he got into the club, his was instantly pulled into the crowd, as they danced. He got out of the jam and made his way to the bar.   "Shot of tequila, please" aj told the woman behind the bar. The lady instanty gave him one. He downed it as it scorched down his throat. "Can I have another?" He asked the lady once again. She immendiately gave him another, and another until he started to lose count.

"why hello" a bubbly, blonde girl said as she sat down beside Aj.

Aj turned around to see a beautiful lady with blue eyes staring back at him. "Why hellllooo..." saying the last word a little too long. "Wunna dansssee?" he asked as he got up to escort the charming, young lady to the dance floor. As he made his way, he tripped over chairs, tables and people's feet.
"Geeshhh, these poople realllllyyy neef to lurn to walkf," he yelled to her over the music.

*The following Day*

"C'mon Mandy, I do NOT have all day. We gotta go before traffic gets backed up," Christina screamed at the front door, tapping her foot impatiently. Christina was dressed in a pink pair of leather pants with a black long-sleeved shirt "Backstreet Boys" scrawled across the front of it.

"I'm coming down in a second Nina, just hold your horses." Mandy shouted from upstairs.

The two of them were going to see the Backstreet Boys in concert, Christina was practically dragging Mandy to the show. '
I'm ready to get a leash to do it too.' Christina thought to herself, still waiting for Mandy to descend from the stairs. Christina turned her head when she heard Mandy coming down the stairs. "It's about it.... Woah girl, you look awesome." Christina studied what Mandy was wearing. She had on a tan pairs of pants with a long-sleeved old navy shirt. Her hair was in small curls, framing her face. It was casual, but just the right look for her.

"You don't look to shabby yourself," Mandy commented on her style. "It looks really good on you."

"Well thank you very much but we better get going before we are late for the concert."

"And we all know how much you would cry if we did. And I just don't know if I could live without seeing the Backstreet Boys," Mandy sarcastically squeeked pretending to be over excited.

"Let's go before I let what you said sink into my head and I hurt you." Christina laughed at Mandy, with the look Mandy threatened at her. "Now let's go.." she grabbed Mandy's hand and headed out the door.
