Behavioral error:

Attempting to open my band locker with my gym locker combination

Why this is an error:

Gym combination obviously will not open band locker

Conditioning
I have ben operantly conditioned to use my gym combination to open my gym locker, being positively reinforced when it works. I generalized the stimuli that evoked this behavior, confusing my band locker with my gym locker.

Memory
My episodic memory overpowered my automatic memory. When faced with a lock, my brain recalled what happened that last time I was in a similar situation: I used my gym combination to open my gym locker. My automatic memory should have recalled my band combination as an immediate response to my band locker.
