But one girl sits alone inside
Unable to go play
For she has grown up much too fast
And seen what no child should see.
She cannot tell a soul her fear
That her death may soon be near
For no one would believe the pain
She goes through every day.
So the child who grew up too fast
Must push her fears away
And imagine that her life is normal
Though it never again will be.
And as the children play outside
The grown up girl that's all alone
Wishes she had her old life back
And could be a child again.
