What happens to a vast sea of water
When burning rays of sunlight radiate
Down onto it, threatening its very existence?
Nothing, for together, it is strong.
What happens when bit by bit
The ocean is slowly pulled apart
Until one drop stands alone?
Everything, for all alone, it is vulnerable.
And as the scorching rays of heat
Slowly destroy that lone bit of moisture
What agonizing thoughts run rampant?
