Self-actualization was at the top of the hierarchy, which included self fulfillment and realization of one's potential. Next came Esteem needs, which includes the fulfillment of approval by others, and recognition. Following that is Belongingness and love needs, which includes the fulfillment of acceptance by others, and to belong. Safety needs include security and safety needs. Finally, Biological Needs include the fulfillment of basic needs such as food and water.
