DUSTY'S TOP-TWENTY ALBUM LIST

1. The Civil War: The Nashville Sessions. The first of two concept albums pre-released for a new musical by Frank Wildhorn that opens on Broadway in April '99. I absolutely love it plan to get the second concept album (the complete work) as soon as I have the funds and the cast album when it gets released.

2. Neal McCoy. This actually refers to the self titled album, but it's easier and more fair to assume that this includes all of his albums.

3. The Best of Country Sings the Best of Disney. Yes, it is an actual album, and it is really good.

4. Bryan White. The self-titled album, it pretty much speaks for itself.

5. Little Texas: Kick A Little. One of three by L.T. on this list, but it ranks higher because of the Brady Factor. Unfortunately, this was Brady's last album with the group.

6. Darryl & Don Ellis: Day in the Sun. Just plain good, though not well known.

7. Godspell. Okay, so it's not country, but it's a darn good album. This is the soundtrack from the movie, but I wish I had the soundtrack for the play.

8. Little Texas: First Time For Everything. This is the album that turned me on to country.

9. Asleep at the Wheel: Live & Kicking. Western Swing: really swinging, not well known, but it should be.

10. Iris DeMent: Infamous Angel. Are you noticing a pattern? I like a lot of unknown albums and artists. This one is really more Bluegrass than Country, but it's very, very good.

11. Billy Dean: Fire in the Dark. Not much to say here.

12. Lari White: Don't Fence Me In. Named for the two versions of the Roy Rodgers classic that are on this one.

13. Lari White: Wishes. What can I say? I just love Lari White.

14. Lari White: Lead Me Not. There's some awesome stuff on this one, including a 40's style torch song that just gives me goosebumps.

15. Brady Seals: The Truth. This is the guy that put the Brady Factor in Little Texas, this is his solo album.

16. Little Texas: Big Time. This has some of my favorite Little Texas songs of all time: "Cutoff Jeans," "My Love," and "What Might Have Been."

17. Mindy McCready: Ten Thousand Angels. Just a cool album.

18. Deana Carter: Did I Shave My Legs for This?. Even the name is cool.

19. Gibson/Miller Band: Where There's Smoke. My fave on this one is called "Texas Tattoo."

20. Waddie Mitchell & Don Williams: The Bard & the Balladeer. It's not all music, it's actually a combination of music and cowboy poetry.
