Until Now

by Gina "Dusty" Fank

This was the view from my castle,
My castle in the sky.
A mere wisp of a dream,
Blocked by the clouds rolling by.
And even from a turret,
The highest in the air,
The dream was so high and far away;
Even then it was not near.
Until now, I would reach out,
Raising my arms towards the sky.
And, until now, I would falter
But all I could do was try.
But now I can reach out and touch it;
Now I can watch it come true.
Where, until now, there was nothing,
There, at my window, is you.
