"In The Chapel" Oil, 42"X36"
My move to Eastern Oklahoma occurred when my mom broke her hip at age 91 and dad, 94.  My permanent move wasn't right then, but, soon after.  Several artists and I had a gallery in Oklahoma City and I worked when it was my turn.  I knew I would miss participating, but, after my dad died, I thought my mom would do better if she could live in the home she was used to and I made the decision to make Muskogee my home.

I like Muskogee. I like it a lot..  But, art wise, I miss being with peers. I miss friends who are accepting of my idiosyncrasies, who don't mind hearing my opinion and might even ask for it. Ha!
