DUTCHESS COUNTY HISTORIAN Salary - $20,729

This is a permanent part-time department head position with the
responsibility to collect and preserve documents, maps, photographs and
other materials relating to the history of Dutchess County under the general
direction of the County Executive. The qualifications for this position are
graduation from high school plus four years of full-time experience in the
research, collection and maintenance of historical records which must have
included or supplemented by evidence of research ability and evidence of
ability to speak before the public. Volunteer or part-time experience may be
substituted for full-time experience on a prorated basis. Must be a resident
of Dutchess County at the time of appointment. For immediate consideration,
