just purchased the Dragonball DVD Box set. If DBZ isn't weird enough, the precursor,
Dragonball, is even more bizarre! Dragonball is the story of
Goku, the main character of DBZ. He is just a boy, and he gets into
some crazy adventures with Bulma and the crew. Goku has the same
carefree soul as a kid, and is even more naive to the ways of the world
then when he is grown up. I guess that's what makes him such a great
hero. He is untainted by the crap that goes on around us every day that
we accept.
The strangest part of all stems (no pun intended) from the mushrooms. A shroomer will think he is trippin' balls when he sees that most of the trees have been replaced with giant mushrooms! This cartoon is originally Japanese, and was very popular in Spain and France. Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it? |
