1932, July 30 - Aug. 14 - X Olympics, Los Angeles - USA Team coach. Silver medal, foil men's individual - Joseph L. Levis, Bronze Medal - Foil, Men's Team - Hugh Vincent Alessandroni, George Charles Calnan, Dernell Every, Joseph L. Levis, Frank Stahl Righeimer Jr., Richard Clark Steere, Bronze Medal - Epee, Men's Team - George Charles Calnan, Miguel Angel De Capriles, Gustavo Marinius Hess, Tracey Jaeckel, Frank Stahl Righeimer Jr., Curtis Charles Shears. Santelli meets again, Adolfo Cotronei, with whom he had dueled in 1924, gets reaquainted and becomes friends. Adolfo now sports a monocle and scar with some pride.
1934 - Realizing the need for good fencing equipment, Santelli starts the United States Fencing Equipment Company and becomes known for producing high quality fencing gear (in 1955 he renames the company George Santelli Inc.). Television program series "Sports Slants" (aka Ted Husings Sports Slants" features a 9 minute, black and white, 3 sport episode. Starts out with Santelli and U.S. saber champion Norman Cohen.
