Ingredients:
3 table spoons ...... Flour
3 ............... Eggs
3 table-spoons ...... Sugar
1 pinch ......... Salt
For the filling:
Box of instant pudding (any flavor you like) or
Fruit preserve
Honey
Preparation:
Mix all sugar and egg yolks together.
Add flour and salt. Whip whites and add to the mixture.
Spread the resulting batter on a piece of waxed paper (or cooking paper)
that has previously been lightly greased with butter.
The spread has to be no more than a 1/4 inch thick.
Place the paper with the batter on a plate and bake for about 4 minutes at 450° F.
Once the base for the roll is baked it will turn golden brown.
Immediately peel off the paper and let cool.
In the meantime prepare a filling that can be done using a box of pudding of any flavor you like.
The "cook and serve" variety works better than the "instant" one.
Spread the filling over the base and make a roll.
You can now sprinkle with cocoa powder, decorate with remaining filling or cover with honey and roll into crushed almonds.
You can also use marmalade or any fruit preserve as a filling.
In that case spread it immediately on the base without waiting for it to cool down.
