1)     In the book Fahrenheit 451 Ray Bradbury discussed lots of social commentaries.  One commentary was how the kids in the future are more violent.  For instance, the kids, in reference to this book, like to wreck cars for fun.  The effect of this, is that kids die.  In real life, one thing that has actually happened, are school shootings.  For instance, Columbine High School.  Something like thirteen kids were killed.  The inmature teenager that shot those kids probably didn't have parents that listened to him so he wanted attention.  Which brings me to my next point. 2)     Divorce has become a very popular and natural thing.  Back in the olden days, people only got a divorce if their spouse cheated on them.  But these days people will get a divorce over anything.  A lot of the reason divorces are so common is because people get married so young.  When they are teenagers people think that they are in love and they are probably not.  Then children come along and then the parents get divorced and well, you get the picture.  DIVORCE!!  Thats why these kids turn to violence because they were never taught that this is wrong. 3)     Another commentary was that school starts earlier.  One reason I think that school starts earlier is because the government is trying to get us ready to go into the real world.  They think that by getting us out of bed earlier, making us do the work earlier in the day, and by just getting us on a schedule, that they have us trained to do what they have us trained to do what they want us to do.  When we are older and have to get a job, we will be ready.  WRONG!!!  It actually makes people angry that they have to listen to someone, that half of  the time, they can not even see.  In my opinion, the government is trying to see how much control that they can have over us.  They might as well tell us when we can go to the bathroom. 4)     Next, Jesus as part of the family?  I don't even think so.  In this book, the people in this society are dressing Jesus up and putting him on T.V.  They think, well if Jesus will buy it, then so will I.  I guess they are thinking right.  But what the government is trying to do, is get Jesus out of the picture so the government will be the only religion.  This is wrong because Jesus died for us.  The people in this society are so off track that it is not even funny. 5)     Bradbury said that burning books is a way of life.  He is wrong.  Without books anyone can overthrow you because you don't know what is right or wrong.  You don't know if anything the government tells you is right because they will lie.  You really need to know about history and why things are like they are.  You can't just go on people's word.  For instance, I could start a rumor today and next week, it will not even be half of what I started.
