I was diagnosed with BPD a year or so ago. Before that I had been diagnosed w/major depression following a very serious suicide attempt (it almost worked). I want to take a course in DPT but now I work and it's not possible. I know it's something I rea ly need to get myself sorted out. This looks like an interesting site, I've got it bookmarked, will be back to visit.

It will be a relief to hear from others who are dealing with this disorder. After a crash and burn divorce, I learned about this and saw every shred of my husband in the book titled "I hate you, don't leave me". I was an unaware victim with no idea of wha I was up against. It helped me tremendously to realize that so many things were NOT my fault. I just couldn't win with him. I was damned if I did and damned if I didn't, no matter what it was.

Diagnosed 10 years ago. Ignored it, quit therapy and tried to cope. have lost my kids, husband and alienated myself from family who just plain think I am a bitch. Have had 100 sexual partners and few 2 year relationships which never last. In a relationship now which i really want to work and have gone back to psychiatrist(last week) she again diagnosed Border line personality disorder. I walked home oblivioius to traffic and considered stepping in front of a train but didn't. I am so scare and so ashamed of all the people I have hurt and continue to hurt. I would love to meet others like me. I appreciate your site
