Group

Sweet Innocence -was formed Dec.7th.2000.The group was actually a duo when they started out, that only consisted of Denise and Nicole. We both go to the same High School, one day we met and started talking. Denise always had strong ambitions to become a dancer, and Nicole also had strong ambitions of becoming a singer .

The both of us would sing in the cafeteria and day dream about being in the spot light. When we got 2gether to practice Denise brough her cousin Samantha over. Denise mentioned that she could sing, And Samantha said she wanted to become a singer. Immediately after we heard Samantha Sing we new right away she had to be in the group. From that point on we were officially a group!

It was all to good to be true, but Their was only one small problem we didn't have a name .We literally went crazy trying to think of a group name .We tried not to worry about it too much because a lot of the groups out their today didn't think of a name right away. Our first performance as a trio was at McDonalds. As we look back on that we all start laughing.lol.We were just sitting their and then Samantha
started singing, then Denise and Nicole joined in.

It was one of those moments! Everyone who was there stopped and looked at us. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. We must have been good because they looked at us in amazment .
and not to mention they didn't kick us out. After our little "performance", we went back to thinking of a group name.

Then out of nowhere we all though of a cool name but weren't all that sure about it. It was a possiablility. After that we went back to Nicole's house and Denise was like Hey, what about Sweetl Innocence? That was also a good name but we didn't know which one to choose. We did the only sensible thing, wrote the two name's down and somebody picks them. Samantha wrote the two names and a piece of paper that said pick again, Nicole mixed them up, and Denise picked the paper. At First she got the piece of paper that said" pick again". As she picked the final piece of paper we all got impatient and nervous. Finally we had a name "Sweet Innocence."

A Couple Weeks ago we got a sad notice that Nicole had to drop the group because she didnt want to hold us back. In the future we do wish the best for Nicole though.

We don't know what the future will bring or what faith has in store for us. What we do know is that there's no one standing in our way to make our dreams come true. Be sure to look out for us in the future.
