Your Hair: How to Love It!
We're sure you've heard the saying "The
grass is always greener on the other side"...well when it comes to hair
and girls, that saying is so true!! We're always looking at other girls' hair,
and going "I wish I had her curls or her straight hair....etc....".
But what we all need to do is learn how to love our hair! That's right, we
need to learn to appreciate our hair the way it is! Sure, we're always going
to have those bad hair days, but the world really doesn't notice! Here's some
tips for styling your hair.
If you have curly or wavy hair and prefer it
to be straight...
Try using Alberto VO5 "Straight Up".
It's a crème that helps keeps the frizz away and maintain the straightness
of your hair. I can truly attest to this because I use this product all the
time. It is a bit pricey but it's worth it to have beautiful hair. It comes
in a 4 oz tube and is about five to six dollars at Wal-Mart or Target or other
stores like that. Another product by Alberto VO5 is "Sheer Hairdressing".
It's similar to the other product only it doesn't straighten but helps to
prevent frizz.
This is what I do to tame my wild frizzy hair:
1. After washing and drying the hair I apply
the Straight Hair crème.
2. Then I use a hair straightening iron. I section
the hair and pull it through a straightener (or curling iron).
3. After this I apply the Hairdressing to maintain
the look and keep my hair frizz free.

If you have curly hair...and just want to know
how to control it....
Look for an anti-frizz gel (like at Wal-Mart)
and after you get out of the shower, put about a quarter-size amount of gel
in your hand, tip your head upside down and comb it through your hair with
a brush. Now flip your hair back over, scrunch it with your hands and you're
ready to go! I have curly hair, and I used to hate it. But now I like it because
it's so easy! Once you learn how to control your curls, you'll love 'em!

If you have straight hair...and want some body
to it....
After you wash your hair, (using a volumizing
shampoo!) dry it and then tipping your head upside down, brush your hair while
blow drying it. Use a round brush so that it will curl your hair gently. Now
flip you hair back over, "fluff" it and you're ready to go. You
might also curl the ends with a curling iron (one inch or larger) ... and
then spritz a little hair spray on it so that the curls will last through
the day.
