Fall and Winter Fashions!

By Johanna

Hey girls! Are you looking for the latest fashion tips?? Well you're in the right place - each month we'll have new tips on hair, make-up, clothes or accessories! If you're looking for something particular or have a beauty problem, jot us a note at: girlmeets_world@hotmail.com

Fall is fleeting, and winter is approaching, but there's lots of cute fall fashions that you can also wear throughout winter! (This can save you money, instead of having to buy two seperate wardrobes for each season!) So what's in style? That's what I'm here to tell you!

Courdoroy Pants - brown or khaki are good neutral colors that go well with lots of other tones as well. These pants are really comfortable and give your body a soft overtone.

Sweaters - there are lots of cute styles, with high necks, v-necks, ribbed or woven, soft cashmire or wool - the possibilities are endless! Not only are they warm for chilly days, but they match with practically everything - jeans, courdoroys, etc!

Hats and scarves - It's cold out, so bundle up in the most fashionable way!

Outer wear - Coats are a necessity - and old styles are coming back! Peacoats, coats lined with fur, and longer cuts are fun and fashionable. Don't forget about the classic denim jacket - it's a great accesory for those warmer days.

Purses - There are an assortment of really cool purses out there to choose from - denim, embroidered, courdoroy, leather - just pick one that fits your personality! (Or you could pick one to match every outfit you own like I tend to do...heehee - I have a slight fondness for purses!)

Shoes - Shoes are a great accessory for fall and winter, and can really spice up an outfit. For winter, it's good to have at least one pair of high cut shoes, like boots, to keep snow from getting your feet cold. Clogs are also really cute for days when the snow isn't too bad.

Remember, girls, to budget your money - there are lots of cute clothes and accesories that aren't necessarily "name brand" that are a lot cheaper! And there are always some good sales going on, too. Don't go "shopping crazy"... just a couple new items per trip is sufficient. Look for clothes that can match with ones you already have. Ask yourself, will I wear this in three months? If you think it's something that'll be pushed to the back of your closet, then don't buy it - it's a waste of your money. Lastly, remember, it's not the clothes, the accesories or shoes that make a person beautful- it's who you are inside!
