Cadette Troop #198 in Alvin, TX hosted 21 Mascots from around the USA and one from Canada too!

Our Cadette Troop took the Mascots to a Program Aide Training the weekend of October 18-20, 2002.

We also attended the Texas Sing-A-Long in Houston on November 2, 2002. We ran a SWAPS instruction booth and sang our hearts out to celebrate the 90th Anniversary. This was certainly a once in a lifetime event. The Mascots met girls from all over Texas and Louisiana and some of the Mascots even sent SWAPS to exchange at the event.

We also hosted a group of Girl Scouts (53) from Laredo, TX so they could attend the Sing-A-Long. We had a pizza party, played Mexican Bingo and had a sleep over at our local Scout House.

Below are a few photos from the event.
