| School days were pretty enjoyable for Hannah, who was cheeky, but managed to get away with quite a lot by flashing her sweet smile at the teachers. That same smile also worked with the boys. However, when it came to her first boyfriend, it seems that Hannah's motto was, 'Share and share alike.' 'In junior school, me and two of my friends all decided to go out with the same boy at the same time. I don't know how we worked that one out, but looking back it seemed to work out quite well,' she says, smiling. Needless to say, Hannah was a big fan of music lessons throughout her school days. 'I really enjoyed PE, and I was also a fan of maths and science classes. But music was always my favourite subject.' Secondary school was a busy time for Hannah, who had loads of hobbies outside school and would regularly attend dance classes and compete in swimming galas. When she was thirteen she landed a place in the National Youth Music Theatre, after spotting an audition in The Stage showbiz newspaper. It was there that she met a certain young man called Paul Cattermole. 'The National Youth Music Theatre was a company that would put on productions in the school holidays, so I would go and stay in youth hostels in London while we rehearsed. Paul used to go as well and I met him because my mate, Sheridan, fancied him, and I fancied his best mate, Neil. I think Paul thought me and my friend were a bit giggly because we used to follow him and Neil around.'
