Hask Henna N' Placenta
photo

One of my dear favorites: A deep protein pak that really works, doesn't smell bad, and is easy to use. Sure, they're might be more "intensive" protein programs (see Aphogee, Redken Cat, and even L'Oreal Ineral Hair Fixer) but this one is the first one I ever discovered and is still a part of my regular monthly routine.

If you've been reading the blog above, you already know that i am in the process of fixing my hair back into a some-what healthy state so I can once again achieve my perfect hair color. Hask Henna N' Placenta is just one of many of the steps I an using to do that.

See a previous review of this product from the old site:  "Placenta-The Controversial Treatment"

Last night I used this stuff again. I didn't wash my hair before hand, but instead I just wet it and towel dried it. Then I put 3/4 of the pack on my hair and combed it through. (Another great thing is for the $3.00, they give you PLENTY of treatment to work with) I put a shower cap on and then a towel over that. I left it on for 30 minutes while I did other things.

Then I got in the shower, shampooed it out with Head N' Shoulders 2 in 1 smooth & silky shampoo. That's it. My hair is shiny and bouncy today.

Those aren't the listed directions, of course. But it works just as well. The good news is that even if you shampoo first, then apply and rinse, my hair still comes out shiny and bouncy and not weighed down. This treatment seems to leave hair more conditioned than other protein treatments. Even enough to not have to use conditioner afterwards. Bonus!

This is something I will always purchase and use.
