P/N AW 30001 is in compliance with the essential requirements
and other relevant provisions of R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC.

Intended
use
This product is a combined 2.4 GHz WLAN-, GSM- and GPRS communicator
for the Compaq iPAQ® PocketPC intended for home and office
use.
EU Countries
intended for use
This product is intended for use in all EU member states: Austria,
Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France (only a restricted number of
WLAN frequency channels are allowed), Germany, Greece, Ireland,
Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and
United Kingdom as well as all EFTA member states: Iceland, Liechtenstein,
Norway and Switzerland.
Restrictive
WLAN use in France
In France there are restrictions regarding the use of the WLAN
function in this device. WLAN may be used indoor with frequency
channel restrictions (only channel 10 to 13 is allowed). WLAN
may not be used outdoor. It is however allowed to use frequency
channels 10 to 13 outdoors, within a private property, such as
a campus, a hospital, etc. In the latter case, it is however mandatory
to get an approval from the French Ministry of Defense. These
rules will be relaxed in the future. For more information see

your own safety. Please make sure to read through these safety
regulations.

Environmental Restrictions
Please note that your GiSMO Communicator is a highly sophisticated and delicate
product and must be treated as such. Please read through the suggestions
below for your information.
- Make sure that the GiSMO Communicator is kept dry. Humidity
and liquids can permanently damage your GiSMO Communicator.
- Keep the GiSMO Communicator away from dirt and dust.
Do not use The GiSMO Communicator in such conditions as the moving
parts can be damaged.
- Do not store or use the GiSMO Communicator in hot or cold
areas. Too much heat may damage your GiSMO Communicator, the
casing and the battery. If exposed to very cold temperatures the
moisture from the air inside the GiSMO Communicator can damage
the sensitive electronic parts of your GiSMO Communicator.
- Never try to open the GiSMO Communicator. Leave service
and repair to professional technicians. Any unauthorized attempt
to open the GiSMO Communicator will void all warranties.
- Keep the GiSMO Communicator from small children. The
GiSMO Communicator may become damaged if handled carelessly and
small parts should be kept from small children due to choking
hazard.
- Clean the GiSMO Communicator with a soft cloth. Spots
can be removed by slightly dampening the cloth in a mild soapy
water. Your GiSMO Communicator will stay in perfect condition
if it is cleaned when required.
- Do not drop, bend or break the GiSMO Communicator. All
careless handling of the GiSMO Communicator can damage it. If
dropped or otherwise damaged, let a technical expert check your
GiSMO Communicator.
- Never attach non-original accessories. Original accessories
have been designed to work flawlessly with your GiSMO Communicator.
Any third party accessory used directly negates the warranty of
your GiSMO Communicator.

License Agreement
for the GiSMO Communicator
By using the Software, as defined below, you agree to be bound
by this License Agreement ("the Agreement") with Wireless House
in Sweden AB. If you do not agree with the terms of this Agreement,
promptly return the CD package and the accompanying items to Wireless
House in Sweden AB for measure.
In return for acquiring a license to use the GiSMO software,
related documentation and hardware peripherals ("Software"), you
agree to the following terms and conditions.
Section 1. Grant of License.
Wireless House in Sweden AB grants you a limited, non-exclusive
nontransferable license: (a) to use the Software on one computer
for internal purposes only, and (b) to make one copy of the Software
solely for backup purposes. You must attach this License Agreement
to the backup copy which remains the sole property of Wireless
House in Sweden AB.
Section 2. Proprietary Rights.
Wireless House in Sweden AB retains full rights, title, and ownership
including all copyrights and other intellectual property rights
in and to the Software. You agree to take all reasonable steps
to prevent unauthorized disclosure of the Software.
Section 3. No Other Rights.
Except as stated above, this Agreement does not grant you any
rights to patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trade names, trademarks
(whether registered or unregistered), or any other rights, franchises,
or licenses in respect of the Software. YOU MAY NOT MODIFY, TRANSLATE,
DISASSEMBLE, REVERSE ENGINEER OR DECOMPILE THE SOFTWARE OR ANY
COPY, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT SUCH MEASURES
ARE PERMITTED BY MANDATORY LAW. ANY UNAUTHORIZED USE, DUPLICATION,
TRANSMISSION, DISTRIBUTION, OR DISCLOSURE OF THE SOFTWARE IS EXPRESSLY
FORBIDDEN.
Section 4. Term and Termination.
This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate
this license at any time. The notice period is (30 days). The
license will automatically terminate if you fail to comply with
any of the terms and conditions of the license. Upon termination
for any reason, you must immediately, pursuant to instructions
by Wireless House in Sweden AB, destroy or return to Wireless
House in Sweden AB the Software, including all documentation and
all whole or partial copies of the Software.
Section 5. Limited Warranty.
Wireless House in Sweden AB warrants that the enclosed software
CD and hardware peripherals will be free from defects in materials
and workmanship under normal use for a period of thirty (30 days)
from delivery to you. Wireless House in Sweden AB will replace
a defective CD or peripheral at no charge if it is returned to
Wireless House in Sweden AB during the warranty period along with
proof of the date of delivery and a written description of the
defect.
This warranty does not apply if the CD or peripheral has been
damaged as a result of accident, misuse or abuse. You assume all
responsibility for selection of the Software to achieve your intended
results and for the installation, use and results obtained from
the Software. You assume the entire risk as to the quality and
performance of the Software. Wireless House in Sweden AB does not warrant
(a) that the functions contained in the Software will meet your
requirements, (b) that the Software will operate in the hardware
or software combinations that you may select, (c) that the operation
of the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or (d) that
defects in the operation of the Software will be corrected.
Should the Software prove defective, you (and not Wireless House
in Sweden AB or an Wireless House in Sweden AB representative) assume the entire cost
of all necessary servicing, repair or correction. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED
ABOVE, Wireless House in Sweden AB MAKES NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES
WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE AND DOCUMENTATION. Wireless House
in Sweden AB DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
Section 6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL Wireless House in Sweden AB BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD
PARTY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE EVEN IF Wireless House
in Sweden AB HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO
EVENT SHALL THE LIABILITY OF Wireless House in Sweden AB RELATING TO THE
SOFTWARE OF THIS AGREEMENT EXCEED THE PRICE PAID TO Wireless House
in Sweden AB FOR THE SOFTWARE.
Section 7. Export.
You acknowledge that the laws and regulations of the United States
restrict the export and re-export of the Software. You agree that
you will not export or re-export the Software or media (including
the CD and any hardware peripherals) in any form without the appropriate
Sweden and foreign governmental approval.
Section 8. Applicable law and disputes.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with Swedish law. Any dispute concerning this Agreement shall
be settled in a Swedish court of law.

Warranty Agreement
Wireless House in Sweden AB (herein after called
Wireless House) warrants that this product is free from defects
in material and construction at the time of original purchase
and for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Unless
otherwise stated in the following text, the name Wireless House
refers to Wireless House in Sweden AB (reg. Number 556614-9679),
its subsidiaries and retailers.
During the warranty period, if any defect in the
product arises due to a deficiency in materials or function, Wireless
House undertakes to either repair or replace the defective product
with the same or an equivalent model, depending on the judgement
made by Wireless House.
Wireless House does not assume responsibility for:
1.Damage caused during shipping, through accidents,
malicious damage, modification, incorrect usage, force majeure
including but not limited to lightning, water, fire, public disturbances,
riots, strike, war or other similar conflicts, or any other cause
beyond the control of Wireless House.
2. Damage (including but not limited to loss of
profits, fall in production, losses of or alteration to processed
information or any other incidental or consequential damages)
caused by the product or use of the product or because the product
cannot be used.
3. Deficient maintenance or a repair performed by
unauthorized persons.
4. Incompatibility due to technological developments.
5. Defects caused by external equipment or abnormal
wear.
6. Defects caused by normal wear and tear.
7. Damage caused by the usage of inappropriate battery.
8. Damage arising in connection with or as a consequence
of upgrading with additions to or alterations of the product,
using software or hardware not produced by or approved by Wireless
House.
If your Wireless House product requires warranty
service you should return the product to the dealer/retailer from
whom it was purchased. The product must be packed in original
packaging or with sufficient care so as to avoid shipping damage.
The original purchaser must be able to show proof and date of
purchase with receipt/invoice from point of purchase in order
for this warranty to be valid.
Repair or exchange does not extend or renew the
warranty period. Exchanged defective parts become the property
of Wireless House. When the warranty period has expired, the warranty
of exchanged/replaced parts also ceases.
This product is not to be regarded as defective
in materials or function if it must be rebuilt in order to be
modified in accordance with national or local technical safety
regulations in a country other than the one in which the product
was meant to be used.
Wireless House reserves all rights to the product,
its hardware, software and trademark. The purchaser or user has
no right to alter, disassemble, reverse engineer or in any other
way use any part of the hardware or software in the product, except
in the way for which it was meant originally and for purposes
permitted by mandatory law.
LIMITED WORLDWIDE WARRANTY In addition to being
able to return a defective product, as stipulated under the conditions
for warranty, to the dealer/retailer from which it was purchased,
a defective product may also be returned to any of the dealers/retailers
carrying the product that participate in the Wireless House worldwide
warranty program. This warranty does not affect the purchaser's
rights against the dealer arising from the sales/purchase contract,
nor the purchaser's legal rights according to mandatory law.
Wireless House's liability in negligence or arising
from any agreement for the sale, use or sub-licensing of the product
shall be limited to the amount paid by purchaser for such product.
Wireless House will never be liable under any theory of liability
for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential
damages of any kind, suffered by the purchaser, or any other party,
end-user, customer, reseller, or distributor, including without
limitation, lost profits, business interruptions, loss of data,
or other economic loss arising from poor performance or non-performance
hereunder or any use of or failure to be able to use the product,
even if a party has been advised of the possibility of such damages
and notwithstanding the failure of essential purpose of any limited
remedy.
Wireless House does not issue any warranty to a
purchaser, other than those explicitly stated in this document,
or conditions concerning the product, expressed, implied, contractual
or statutory. Wireless House specifically disclaims all other
warranties and representations including without limitation any
implied warranty of merchantability, non-infringement or fitness
for a particular purpose, any warranties arising from a course
of dealing, use or trade practice, and any warranties concerning
the non-infringement of third party rights.
These warranty conditions shall be governed by and
construed in accordance with Swedish law. Any dispute concerning
these warranty conditions will shall be settled in a Swedish court
of law.
