As part of the deal, Brazilian midfielder Anderson has joined The Cottagers in exchange for the Frenchman. Moments after sealing the deal, The former Juventus star described it as a "dream move" but admitted Fulham will always hold a special place in his heart. The striker has been in prolific form so far this season, scoring 8 goals for newly promoted Fulham in D1. Trezeguet has emerged as the new number one transfer target for United, ahead of Blackburn Rovers ace Ruud van Nistelrooy. The former Juventus ace looked destined to leave Craven Cottage last season as he was shipped out on loan to Coventry City, where he helped them lift the D2 crown.
