Meet the New Faculty Faces...
GIT Opens SY 2005-2006
Guevarra Institute of Technology opens the school year 2005-2006 on June 6, 2005 with much excitement and eargerness to educate young minds to be equipped with appropriate knowledge and skills in their  field of endeavour.

The incoming students would surely enjoy the current renovations of the school which includes the newly renovated and painted swing facilities, newly painted canteen, departmental bulletin boards, newly painted computer technician laboratory room. Soon to be enjoyed by the mechanics students  is an automobile unit currently set up for laboratory purposes.

In the days ahead, the administration is looking for the improvement of the auto mechanic laboratory, the installation of glass windows in the library, hollow block fencing of the playing area vicinity and Internet installation of the computer laboratory.  Indeed these undertakings would entail financial support of all concerned. In a way, the GIT management is doing all these stuff because it means business of preparing the youth  for a  better future.

As of this press time, there are still a number of students who are enrolling in various course  offerings of GIT. Complete preschool, gradeschool and highschool education  are courses duly recognized with the Department of Education. College Courses like 2 Yrs. Computer Secretraial, 2 Years Associate in Computer Technology and One year General Clerical Course are duly accredited with the CHED while those of One Year Automotive Technology, Two Years Computer Technician , 5 months Computer Data Encoder are all having UTPRAS  registration under TESDA.

For this school year, the school management seeks to have at least 75% of its TESDA examinees in College would pass the TESDA Competency exam of which the latter would boost their employment chances.

The gradeschool department is headed by Miss Janice Villaneuva , a  BEED graduate from Bukindon State College.  The High school department is ably managed by Miss Cynthia Eslate a BSE graduate from Central Mindanao University  who have been  staying in GIT for the last three school years. The College students would be manned by an IT graduate from Cebu Institute of Technology, a beauty titlist during her college years, Miss Pamela  Abello. Her heart still belongs to GIT as she embarks her 3rd year of work.

Surely the whole school year would be full of excitement and learning experience.

GIT Goals 2005
Studentry :
1. To obtain at least an average rating of 85% in Math, English and Science among preschool, gradeschool, and high school students.

2. To become achievers in various interschool competitions in the city, regional and national arena.

3. To have  all of its students become   CHARACTER students imbued with Godly moral values and service to humanity.

4. To have at least 75 % of its college graduates pass the TESDA competency exams.

5. To have its college graduates employed within the year after graduation.

6. To minimize students drop outs to 10% .

7. To be sensitve to the wholistic needs of the students.

8. To inspire all its students to push through with their dreams and aspirations in life

Faculty and Staff

1. To have its faculty gain at least 12 masteral units.

2. To have its faculty and staff undergo various trainings like personality development , customer service , computer literacy, PC Maintenance, strategies of teaching  and the like.

3. To develop  CHARACTER teachers.

Facilities and Equipment


1. To have have the automotive shop renovated and equipped with updated facilities and equipment.

2. To install glass windows in the Library

4. To have the computer lab connected to INTERNET.
