THE GIA FOUNDATION is proud to announce the launching of its nationwide campaign 
GIVE A DOLLAR SAVE A LIFE. Believing that education is the key, THE GIA FOUNDATION is distributing (at no charge) copies of AN AMERICAN GIRL:THE SELF-DESTRUCTION OF GIA to thousands of high schools across the country.

A teaching curriculum will accompany the film consisting of thought provoking questions aimed at changing the decision-making behavior of the viewer.  Gia’s story, struggle with drugs and the impact of HIV/AIDS is a powerful tool toward protecting our greatest resource, America’s youth.

An American Girl:The Self-Destruction of Gia is the film that every teenager should see and the story that all parents should know about.

Thanks to the donations already received, the campaign will kick off with 100 high schools in New York City and will spread state by state working its way across the country until we have achieved our goal!
