Pain

Pain comes in many flavors,
Different colors, shapes and savors,
Pureed, chunked, canned and kibbled,
Dry, moist, with gravy dribbled.
Its served for breakfast, lunch and tea;
Too damned often, if you ask me,
But nobody does. They just fill the plate
And serve up more when that is ate.
It dazzles the eye, this vast array
Of misery served up every day.
Once in a while Id like a break;
Id like a baked potato and steak!
