It’s a dark night; Rembrandt Brown and Maggie Beckett are running from a group of people shooting at them. Remmy puffs behind the woman as bullets shower over them. "Who’d a thought we’d make it back to oracle world!" Remmy calls. "I don’t know," She calls back, looking scared. "Where’s Mallory and Diana? They were right behind you!" Maggie says, dodging gunfire.
Mallory races behind Remmy and Maggie, and runs to another woman, but rails fall from above on his leg and back. "Ah!" Diana Davis turns around, and she sees him beneath the debris. "He’ll miss the slide!" she thinks. Diana dodges gunfire and backtracks to Mallory. "Just go! I’ll catch up with you later! Go! Go!" Mallory yells.
Maggie and Remmy pull out the timer and activate the sliding vortex. The two hear Mallory screaming, "Go, go!" Maggie looks at Remmy, white like she’s seen a ghost. Rembrandt takes a moment and smirks. Yeah, I know girl. I know. He’s still in there all right.
Mallory looks up at Diana. "Just go! I’ll catch up I swear." "No! I won’t leave you." She says stubbornly. Diana grabs Mallory and helps him limp painfully to the vortex. Maggie and Remmy are nowhere to be seen, and the vortex is closing. Diana pushes Mallory into the vortex and is about to jump in when she is shot in the back. She watches the vortex close, and passes out.
From behind a corner three "swooshes" are heard as Remmy, Maggie and Mallory emerge from the vortex. The three look around, panicking. "Where’s Diana?" Rembrandt asks. "She missed the slide," Mallory gasps. "We’ll have to go back for her…" Maggie and Remmy agree. When the three come around a corner, they see a dozen people in a crowd, huddled in a group around a person lying down. Maggie gets over to get a closer look, and before she gets too close, the group turns around and comes after her! "Good God! The-Their not human!" Before she knows it, Maggie is surrounded by zombies…

It is a dimly lit room, and it appears to be like a barracks in the military. There are rows of beds, Diana and a few others are there, all lying down. The others all look far worse than Diana, and Diana wakes up. Just as she wakes up, an authority looking figure approaches her. "Welcome. You took a pretty nasty shot out there. My name is Samson." "Diana. Pleased to meet you." Diana tries to sit up, but Samson stops her. "Whoa, calm down there, you’re still hurt." "I-I have to get back to my friends." "No way you’re leaving till you get better. Friends? We didn’t see anybody else with you. They probably got them." Diana tries to tell what really happened to them, but she stops herself. "Oh, what’s this you have here?" Samson picks up the PDL and starts pushing buttons. "Don’t touch that!" Diana yanks it out of his hands only a split second after he sees the vortex, and about Interdimensional travel. Samson looks at her funny, but doesn’t say anything. "I need some rest." Diana rolls over and acts like she’s asleep. "Don’t worry, you’ll get better. Benjamin Franklin once said: "Once you get fall down, and get back up, you’ll be twice as hard to knock down the next time." And with that, he walked off. "Huh?" Diana thought.
It is now dark time, and everyone in the barracks is asleep. A dark figure approaches Diana’s bed and searches Diana’s handbag. He discovers the PDL and quickly exits.
Maggie, Remmy, and Mallory are backed into the alley in which they entered, and zombies are slowly coming closer. When the zombies get about three feet from the sliders, a gun is fired at the closest zombie. The shot blows it in half. A voice yells "C’mon!" and jumps down off of a stack of boxes. The stranger enters a door in the side of the building that they were next to, and the sliders follow. After entering the room, the stranger turns around revealing her identity. "Well, you don’t look like zombies." "Hey. We know you." Remmy remarked. "Yeah, I’m Debra." "Yeah, you’re the lady from that zombie world. Wait! Man, were back here aren’t we. What’s with us returning to all these old worlds?" "Yeah, infinite possibilities, right?" Mallory half asks. "You know," Maggie recalls, "this is about the 10th world that we’ve re-slid to. Do you think something’s wrong with the timer?" "Man, that’s all we need now." Remmy complains. "We’ll have to get Diana to look at it." "Yeah, but we have to get her back first." Mallory says. "Yeah." Maggie and Remmy say in unison. While the sliders are conversating, Debra is at the window, on lookout. "Uh oh guys! We got trouble!" Just then, zombies, come in all the windows, including the window in which Mallory is standing, and a zombie grabs and bites Mallory. "Ahhhh!"

"Uhhh." Diana groans. "Man, I think I’m just now feeling the impact of that bullet." "Good morning." Samson enters the barracks and greets Diana. "I’m glad to see your wide and awake. Did you have a good night’s sleep?" "Not really. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say everybody was snoring together on purpose." Diana smirks. "No, really thank you. I appreciate the way you guys have treated me considering you guys are fighting a rebellion and all." "How’d you know that?" "Well, I had about a 500 hour talk with old Charlie here." Diana reaches over and pats a 50 looking man, lying on his stomach, on the back. "He explained everything from the Oracle to the turning point in which the rebels, you guys, got the upper hand." "Yup. I guess that explains everything." Samson concludes. "You talk to much Charlie." Samson jokes. Charlie mumbles something and goes back to sleep. "Well, we do have the upper hand," Samson adds, "but there are still a few packs of the Oracle’s soldiers that refuse to give up. That’s who shot you and probably got your friends." "…Samson, listen, I have to tell you something. My friends and I-" Diana is interrupted by Samson. "I Know." "What?!?" "I know they are interdimensional travelers." "Bu-but how?" "That’s how the we got the upper hand in the rebellion. The sliders helped us show the world the Oracle was a fake. And, I also saw the same wormhole I traveled through, too. You know, on your little computer thingy." "Oh yeah, my PDL. I almost forgot. Let me show you how it really works." Diana reaches over into her handbag only to discover that the PDL is missing. "It-it’s gone!" "What?" "It’s gone! My ‘little computer thingy’ is gone!" " Oh, well, don’t worry" Samson said hopefully "we’ll get it back. George Washington once said: "If you loose something, you’re bound to get it back."

"He’s hurt…badly. Looks like he got bit by a zombie." Maggie said, while examining Mallory’s wounds. BLAST! BLAST! "That should take care of them", Debra said, after using the last of her rounds, "but I’m out. Oh. Well, your friend’s gonna need some serum unless you want him to become one of those zombies. " "Oh well, we only got four hours. We can hold out ‘till then." Remmy said, hopefully. "Till what? Ohhhh, if your talking about the hole you guys jumped into last time, you’ve got some explaining to do." You guys left me here for dead, after you guys left, it wasn’t long before the zombies started showing up again." "What happened to that doctor guy?" Maggie asked. "Zombies. He ran off, tried to leave me. But he didn’t get too far." Debra answered. "Well, it looks like there’s no hope here on this world. We’ll have to take you with us time. But first, we have to make a pit stop on the last world we went to. So you might be sliding with us for a while, ok?" Remmy asked. "Anywhere but here." Said Debra. "Speaking of anywhere but here, lets get Mallory to a bed or something. Some place safer…for all of us." Maggie proposed. Everyone agrees, including Mallory, who just groans. They see a flight of stairs, and they go to the second floor. Everyone decides to wait the four hours out there. Except Debra, who insists that Mallory gets the serum, which used to be kept in an old lab, just before the zombies came back. Maggie goes with her, and Remmy stays with Mallory.
"This it?" Maggie asked Debra while looking for the serum. "No, no. Its kept in a much more guarded area. Look for a cabinet or a safe with a lock, or a combination." Debra answered. "Wait! I think I found it." Maggie walks up to a door height cabinet, and breaks off the lock with a nearby hammer. As soon as she breaks off the lock, a zombie shoots out, grabbing her and putting its mouth near Maggie’s neck. "Ah! Argh! Get offa me! Argh!" Maggie fights the zombie and it falls dead…again. "Whew. That was close," examines Debra "better watch out next time." "Well, hopefully there won’t be a next time. I just found the serum."
"Hang in there Mallory, help is on the way." Remmy tries to help, but sees its useless. "Uhhh." Mallory half answers. He sees that Mallory has gone into sort of a trance. "Hey Rem! We got it!" Maggie and Debra appear on the first floor of the warehouse, Remmy and Mallory on the second. CRASH! A zombie bursts through the window landing on Debra. "Ah! Ah! Ahhhhh! The zombie bites away at Debra’s neck. Maggie kicks it in the head, and soon after it collapses. Maggie inspects Debra, but she sees it is too late. "Debra!" "Maggie. I’m…uh...it shouldn’t take long for the virus to take effect. Just take the serum to your friend and get out of here. I’ll be fine here with all these zombies to keep me company." "No!" Maggie screams. "I wont leave you." "Don’t be a fool, Maggie. There’s…ah…only enough for one more dose. Give it to your friend and "slide" out of here." "Maggie! C’mon! Three minutes!" Remmy yells. "We can take you with us…to the next world." "No use risking the virus on an unsuspecting world, right? Just…uhhhhh." "No!" Maggie stares at Debra until she is snapped out of it. "Maggie! C’mon!" Remmy yells. "Right." Maggie grabs the serum and gets to the second floor. She injects Mallory and Remmy activates the vortex. "What happened to Debra?" "I’ll explain on the next world." Maggie, Remmy and Mallory stumble into the vortex.

"Were in the Chandler?" Diana asked. "Well, yes. Just that most of the rooms and walls were cleared out to treat the patients better." Samson replied. "Well, I think I’ll have a drink then. Bartender, what are your specials?" Diana asked. As the bartender turned around, Diana wasn’t surprised to see whom he was. "Hi Hal." "Hey! How’d you know my name?" "I looked at your name tag." "Oh, right." Hal said, embarrassed. Just then an oval blue vortex blew open right behind Diana. She spilled her drink all over the counter and Hal was blown back onto all the glasses on the wall. Then, Maggie, then Mallory and Remmy emerged from the vortex. "Guys! You made it!" "Yeah, just barely." Remmy remarked as he motioned to Maggie to help him get Mallory to a room.

"…And then I got up to the second floor with you guys." Maggie said, finishing her story. "Humph. Man, that’s a shame." Just then Diana and Samson entered the room. On the door reads: "205". "Well, I think I’ve solved our problem. The timer seems to be glitching in that it keeps reading older coordinates, stopping our way of ever getting to new earths. That could be a problem by what you guys tell me that none of the earths you guys have visited, (nods her head toward Remmy and Maggie) don’t have the technology capable of splitting Quinn and Mallory. Now I can fix this by simply resetting the timer." "But… There’s always a but." Maggie interrupted. "Oh, no. All I have to do is transfer the coordinates from the timer to my PDL and then after I’m done resetting it, I can put the coordinates back." Diana looks around. "Oh, I must have left it in the lobby. I’ll be right back." After a minute, the sliders hear Diana from the 1st floor. "It’s gone!" Maggie, Remmy and Samson then dash down to the lobby and meet up with Diana. Then they see a man in a black suit running out of the Hotel doors. The three follow him and yells "Stop him!" As the man starts dashing down the street, Mallory suddenly awakens, opens the window and does one of his famous leaps and tackles him in mid-air. The two crash over an apple cart. Mallory is knocked out again and so is the man in the suit. Samson grabs him and looks inside his coat pocket. "The Oracle. He just doesn’t give up does he." Samson picks him up and drags him away.

"There. I’m finished." Diana said proudly. "What’s to stop this thing from glitching up again?" Mallory asked. "Well, there’s really no guarantee, but we can always hope." Diana smirks. "Ok. Here we go." Maggie says as she picks up the timer. "3..2..1.." Maggie aims and shoots off the vortex. Diana jumps in, carefully holding onto her handbag that holds her PDL, followed by Remmy. "You weren’t worried about me dying, were you Maggie?" Mallory half joking, half asking. "Nah. I’m not that lucky." Maggie smirked. Mallory then Maggie jump into the vortex.
The four emerge on a street with houses and gas station. As they come out, they see another vortex open and two children come out. "Do it again!" The younger boy yells to the bigger boy. The older boy activates his timer and the two jump in right before it closes. The sliders look at each other in amazement. Just then, they see a man come out of his house. "Oh man, I’m late to work again!" He then opens his briefcase and activates his timer. He jumps in after straitening his suit and the vortex closes. The sliders are dumbfounded. "Wow. Sliders world." Mallory jokes. As they walk by the gas station, Remmy sees a vending machine that’s titled: "Timers". "Hey guys check this out!" Remmy calls. The four go over to the vending machine and are amazed. "Ooo Mommy buy me one!" Mallory teases Maggie. "Hey guys, maybe we should buy one, you know just for a spare." Diana suggests. "Great idea Diana." Remmy says as he reaches into his pocket. "Damn. I’m out of money." "C’mon guys, they’re only fifty cents!" Mallory bugs. Everybody checks and no one has any money. "Well, I guess we could get jobs or something." Remmy suggests. "Wrong." Maggie says. "We’ve got two more minutes on this world." "Talk about part time." Mallory says. "Oh well, it’s not like we’re going to let the timer get broken." Maggie says.
The end
