RPG History and Archives

This RPG began about six months ago, and already it has a diverse history, as follows:

The RPG began with Wade, Quinn, Rembrandt, and the Professor. All the history of our RPG was the same as after Invasion. As the story goes, all we were trying to do was find our way home. We, however, ran into Kromaggs. We managed to elude them, but instead ran into Quinn's female double Logan St. Clare. We had a great struggle with her, but we managed to throw her and her timer into her vortex, which was so unstable, that it pulled her in at the atomic level. After that event strange things happened.

Wade and Remmy were lost, and Arturo and Quinn landed in a different world, and different time. There we met up with an old man named Colin Mallory! Arturo says that he is Quinn's younger brother, but due to the time difference, he is about 50 years ahead of us! Well...since Colin was well versed in Sliding, we chose to add him to the team.

On the next slide, we lost Colin, but were greeted instead by a slider named Maggie. She seemed to be only a few years ahead of us. She said that she was a slider with our future selves. Well...the next slide, she was too lost.

Then, time seemed to be returning to normal. At this time, I assume that Logan returned to her home world, which restored time and space. We met up with Quinn's old friend Bennish, and later Maggie returned, and so did Colin. Now the five of us; Quinn, Arturo, Maggie, Bennish, and Colin, are the new Sliders. Our mission: to find Remmy and Wade, and return home!

This mission was brought to a crashing halt though, when we next slid. Only Arturo and Colin came out of the vortex. Later though, in a separate vortex, Quinn came. He then told us his long story...

Quinn was abducted by an old man by the name of Geiger. As soon as he mentions this, Colin begins to recall a dream he has been having about being unstuck. Well...Quinn says that Geiger brought him there because his Quinn died, and he needed someone to help him combine worlds. Quinn turned him down, but our arch nemesis Logan St. Clare offered to help him! He says though, that a women by the name of Diana helped him to escape Geiger. Colin remembers this in his dream also! Arturo also recalled a girl who he had in school prior to Quinn by the name of Diana Davis. Well...then Quinn reveals that Geiger's interference is the reason why Remmy and Wade are gone. They have been unstuck!

Now we all have to go back to Diana's world to stop Geiger! Well, as we exit the vortex the professor is gone, and a man is trapped up high. Well, we save him but he tells us his name is Quinn Mallory! As the group argues over this, the professor enters! The group centers around him, and he explains that he...was dead! He explains that in the last world he became merged with a great double of himself. This double was sliding with Wade, Rembrandt, and Quinn. All they wanted to to was like us, get home. Well... He, the other Arturo, was killed by an alternate Rickmin! The professor was killed in the body of the alternate Arturo, and became unstuck! He was re-stabilized on another world though, but it was a Kromagg World!!! He saw Wade though, but she was all dead and being used as a Kromagg pawn. He also picked up a Kromagg Timer, which is how he got here. Arturo turns on the timer as Geiger walks in, and throws him into it. Another Geiger enters though, the one who has a vengeance against us Sliders. He shoots at Colin and Quinn. Also, just then, Arturo gets dizzy and passes out. Everyone but Geiger makes it through the vortex. Just as the professor regains consciousness he reveals that he is dieing!

Arturo is feeling the pain of death, and asks for his long lost son...Quincy! As Arturo keeps screaming for his son, Quincy enters! Arturo explains to Quincy that his mother, Arturo's wife, was a Kromagg! She is the one that gave Arturo the timer for Quincy. Also, she was the only truly human Kromagg! She died from the virus which is now killing Arturo! Quincy is safe from the virus though, and as a last wish, Arturo asks that Quincy slide in his place! He does, and just then...Arturo passes on.

The timer initiates a wormhole. Quincy jumps in as his father is dieing. Colin, Quinn, Mallory, and Bennish stay behind as Arturo dies. They then bow a moment, and slide. Now that there is a new group, things will change, but all will stay the same. We will try to get everyone back to their worlds, and end this trip of sadness!

The group then slides for awhile, loosing all members until they were down to Quincy, Quinn, Bennish, and Rembrandt. This group slid for awhile, and soon got to a world that would give them the option of getting home. The only trouble was that there was already a huge group of people waiting to get home too.

This group was composed of doubles of them and all the lost sliders. They wanted to get home as bad as the other group, but they were put through far less sadness than the smaller group. Well...they talked about it for awhile and finally Arturo pushed to let the other group go, and I mean this literally. While everyone was fighting he turned on the machine to get the group home, and pushed the other group in. The machine was then useless and no one else could us it to get home.

The larger group then slid to another world, while the smaller got home. The group was sad not to get home, but forgave Arturo for what he had done. Now this group must endure the same hardship as the others, but will much more deserve to get home!

On the next world the group slid to a world in which Mindgame is played. They soon get attacked by a group of Kromaggs, but they escape them, and for some reason, the Kromaggs cease to attack. While there they remember a similar world in which Mindgame was played. There their doubles we supposed to have slid. So, Arturo and the group goes to his house, and sure enough, they see the sliding machine. The group initializes the machine, which produces a slide wave and slides the population of the whole planet to another world!

The slidewave slides the group to another world of their past, the Kromagg war world of Purgatory. Since the Sliders are on another world, their timer is useless, and they can't slide any longer. Just then the Professor remembers yet another of their past worlds slid to. On that world another Wade was captured by the Kromaggs and turned into a living machine. She seemed to have a special connection to our Rembrandt, and so we have him try to contact her. He succeeds just as a wild storm approaches.

She slides the inhabitants of the Mindgame world home, and sends our sliders to another world also about to be ravaged. She then uses that last of her and our Wade's stregth to send the group back to Earthprime, or what we thought was Earthprime. She instead sent us to her Rembrandt's homeworld. There are Kromaggs all around, and not a hope for our group. Gunfire erupts and some of the members of our group are injured.

We manage though, to highjack a truck and we drive to the Human Underground Resistance. Steven Jenson is the leader of the Resistance. He takes care of the wounded and explains to our group that he was working on sliding and his wife Maggie was killed in the experiments. Just then Maggie awakes and makes contact with Jenson!!!

They have one of those happy heartfelt moments, and then the Kromaggs enter the base. The group is forced to leave and go to the lab. Then with the technology there, they can slide. They open the vortex, charge the new timer, and head on in. Before Jenson enters though, he sees that the humans have been victorious. They end up on the other side, on what appears to be a world of kings and queens. Just then they see an alternate Quinn riding toward them!

They sliders stay on this world in luxury. Arturo's double is supposedly the king, and the doubles treat our Arturo with the utmost loyalty. The only thing is that there is a ghost wandering the castle!!!

The Sliders begin to investigate the matter. Thinking that it might help, Arturo calls on the services of the local wizard, Merlin. Just as Merlin arrives though, the professor is hit on the head by an unseen person. They tend to Arturo while they fix the timer. Just then, Arturo wakes up. 

Just then the ghost Arturo re-appears. Supposedly he was in Merlin's lab fooling with this new "electric" device, when it made him invisible. The energy from the timer made him come back to visibility.  Colin and Diana are still invisible and missing though. Just then Arturo realizes what he must do.

The vortex opens and the sliders jump in. The vortex then closes, and in a matter of seconds an astral plane vortex opens and makes Colin and Diana whole again. They slide into it, and our team is re-united again.

They then all end up on the next world, but they have lost Jenson somewhere. The group encounters a double of the Doctor just then. He runs away screaming, "They're real, they're real!!!" Just then Mallory spots a sign on a nearby movie theater saying, "Sliders: THE MOVIE." Not even a second after Mallory points the sign out, 1000 fans begins to run after the Sliders. They manage to make it into the hotel though, and get a suite. Arturo searches around with Quinn to find out a little of the history of this world, when a group of about half a dozen fans walks over and introduces themselves. Among them are Garrett Weaver (SlidersCentral) and Adam Castillo (Fish-Bone)!!!!!!

Well...the group decides with the help of their new found friends, to stay on this world. They go and see the movie until at the end the timer runs down. The whole group stands up and the timer opens the vortex. The stand in a moment of silence, the professor throws the timer into the vortex, thereby ending all the torment of sliding, and giving our group a home!
