Glantraeth opened strongly with Paul Rowlands and Craig Roberts both threatening before Nigel Barry struck in the tenth minute with a contender for goal of the season. Seeing the home keeper off his line he let fly from fully thirty five yards, the ball entering the net after striking the underside of the crossbar.
Isa replied with a shot from Nathan Jones that was deflected wide but with Paul Rowlands causing problems on the right it was soon Glan back in the ascendancy with Craig Roberts heading just over on 36 minutes after another jinking run by Rowlands.
Play quickly moved upfield and the Flintshire side drew level as Sam Pugh beat Paul Whelan to the ball before lifting his shot over keeper Dave Ball.
Richard Owen shot over two minutes later after being set up by Craig Roberts as Glantraeth continued to be wasteful of chances created and it didn’t get much better after the break as Craig Roberts pulled his shot badly wide when through on goal.
The second period was an evenly contested affair with Pugh heading just too high on the hour mark and Richard Owen off target with a header ten minutes from time being the closest either side came to breaking the deadlock.
