Recently on WWE.com's Headlines page, they posted a small note titled:

Vince Russo returns

World Wrestling Entertainment welcomes back Vince Russo to the creative writing team.

It seems that Russo only would return to work in the WWE if Vince gives him full control over the creative product. This demand was not known if it was met but Russo has begun to work immediately on it.

With the shocking drop in ratings, low attendance in House Shows and many wrestler's leaving the WWE due to problems or injuries, (yes, Stone Cold...) Vince McMahon wants to let the Brand Extention continue. He wants the 2 brands to continue on functioning and does not want to admit to the public it was a failure as in the case of the XFL.

With now Stone Cold gone from the WWE, we shall have to wait and see what new product Russo can make.
