235 the Rangers got off to a good start before losing a few quick wickets
to be 3/56. Some good knocks then by Brian Schultz 38, Jeff Shallcross 38
and Brad Daniels (41 on debut) steadied the ship. Some good late hitting
by Lee Strachan (17), Ashley Baartz (18) and Kieran Shallcross (17) was
not enough. A good 100% effort was the pleasing aspect against a more
experienced side. Earlier, Brad Richards had starred with the ball taking
4/13. |

Stubbs 1/24 off 6, Brad Daniels 1/41 off 5, Brad Richards 1/41 off 6). The

Lost by 7 wickets (Glasshouse 138 & T/Noosa 3/138)

The
Sun Coast Haulage 2nd division side came up against a
strong Tewantin/Noosa side. The battled to 138 all out with Nusqe Spanton
producing a gutsy effort with 24 batting at no.3. Acting skipper Jeff
Shallcross got 20. Other batsmen got starts but didn’t go on with it. A
better fielding effort than last week with only one dropped catch was a
big improvement. The visitors lost 3 wickets when they passed their total.
More belief in their ability will see this side perform better as the
season goes on |

but the home side had reached 4/171 at the end of the day’s play. Corey
