Not long after Sean and Shawn left, Kevin moved off the couch and into the kitchen, "Hey Scotty want something?"

Scott took and deep breath and joined Kevin in the kitchen, "No, I'll just have a coke."

Kevin nodded and handed Scott a coke and grabbed himself an apple. Scott hopped onto the kitchen island and took a drink of his coke, thinking to himself.

Kevin though decided to shake things up a bit, "Hey Scotty I couldn't help but notice you gawking at the kid, when are you going to make a move."

Scott suddenly spewed his mouth full of coke all over the kitchen cupboards, "Kevin, for Christ's sake."

Kevin just smirked and grabbed a towel, "Scott the kid's cute, and available, why don't you...."

"Because," Scott interrupted, "He's our novice."

"Now there's largest pile of crap, that I've ever heard," Kevin states, "Edgie is seeing his novice, and what about Vampiro and Juvi."

" This is different!" Scott sighs.

"Oh pray do tell, oh all seeing one," Kevin says.

"He didn't join willingly, for one thing," Scott says, "and, the blood bond keeps telling me that something's wrong. That he didn't have a nice life, and I don't want to hurt him."

Kevin sighs and steps in front of Scott laying a hand on either side him, "Scott, you're my blood brother, I've known you for 426 years. You know damn well that not everyone becomes what we are willingly. You've been alone for over 200 yrs little bro, why not allow your self this?"

Scott sighs and drops his head a little so him and Kevin are eye level, "But.."

"No buts," Kevin says, looking into Scotts eyes, "After the meeting I'll take Shawn out some where and I want you to ask the kid out, take him somewhere, do something. Scott you won't hurt him, in fact it may do the two of you some good."

Scott nods and smiles, "Thanks big bro, now, we better go, the meeting will be starting in a few minutes."

Sean and Shawn returned a little after the meeting was over. Scott and Kevin swore the two had bought the whole mall and brought it home. There were bags all over, they didn't even know how Sean and Shawn could have fit it all in one car.

"How much did you guys spend?" Kevin asks flopping into the chair and then hoping up and moving a Shoppers Drug Store bag.

"Well quite a bit," Shawn say remembering, "But Sean needed everything, he can't go back to his old place and get anything now can he. He needed shoes, clothes, hair stuff, personal stuff.."

Kevin waves his hand and looks at Sean who's half way curled up on the couch and Kevin's blood bond is telling him something is wrong.

Kevin decides to handle this quietly, "Well at least he's all set up, and besides, I never set a limit and we don't really have to worry about money."

Kevin watches Sean out of the corner of his eye, the boy was just beginning to relax, "What kind of life did this kid have," Kevin asks himself.

Scott walks in and looks at Sean, and then to Kevin. Kevin nods and nudges Shawn, and Shawn noticing Scott and Sean, follows him out of the house. Scott watches them go and turns his attention back to Sean.

Sean's fiddling with the hem of Shawn's shirt and looking like he's deep in thought, like he's remembering something.

Scott clears his voice and Sean looks up at him, "Um.. Sean I ..."

Sean turns to Scott and look into Scott eyes, with a questioning look. Scott looks back into Sean's eyes feeling drawn into them, the Blood Bond telling Scott the pain this Kid has endured. The first thought into Scott's mind is that he couldn't hurt this kid, that has endured so much pain in such a sort life, he couldn't add to it.

"Nothing kid, nothing at all," Scott states, turning and walking back into the kitchen and out onto the back porch.

When Nash and Shawn return and find Sean stretched out on the couch watching TV, Nash grows confused. He wanders into the kitchen, an through it onto the porch to find Scott sitting on the porch swing, with Chaos beside him. Nash moves to lean against the railing, goes to open his mouth.

"Don't say a word," Scott states, stroking Chaos's head staring out into the back yard, "I can't cause this kid any more pain. The kid must have been remembering something, because when he looked up the blood bond was screaming with the pain this kid has endured. I won't cause him anymore pain."

Kevin shakes his head, "How can you be sure you will cause him any pain?"

Scott just sighs and shakes his head, "My mind is made up Kev, I'm not..."

"Scott you can't be serious," Kevin sighs.

"I am," Scott states, "Please Kev, just leave me alone."

Kevin just sighs and reenters the house.

Shawn sits on the couch, beside Sean, and looks at the tv.

"Haute couture," The guy on the screen says.

Shawn looks at Sean, and see Sean's thoughts are far from the screen, "hey kid, the TV just said little green men have blown up New York, do you want us to sign a peace treaty to stop Godzilla reruns from being sent into space."

"Yeah, I guess so," Sean says, not moving.

Shawn then give's Sean's shoulder a shake and Sean turns to him, "Ok, what's wrong?"

"Nothing," Sean sighs standing up and heading up stairs, he then stops in the middle of the stairwell, "Shawn?"

"Yeah," Shawn says, looking at Sean's eyes.

"What would you say if I told you I think I have feelings for Scott?"
