Danny Glaze

DC Danny Glaze, a funky detective with a distinct hairstyle first appeared in The Bill in the episode 'Makeover' screened in May/1999.

His first appearance also coincided with Jim Carvers return to uniform.
With 7 years experience on the force Danny is a capable and dedicated officer and he often seems unfazed by all that happens around him.

His laid back manner hides the fact the Danny is a hard working officer, competing to fit in to what is sadly still a very much a white male dominated system. Perhaps it is twice as hard for Danny being the only black officer in CID but this also fuels his determination.
