Shazam is the full older sister to Sir Callaghan.  She was unbeaten when shown as a yearling and two-year-old and went from maiden to champion at her first show.  In her short career Shazam amassed numerous wins and championships and rarely came home without a wide ribbon. Neighbour Kathleen Mitchell rode her very successfully to B grade Show Jumping and Open Eventing. Kathleen's younger sister, Colleen had taken over riding Shazam when tragically a couple of months later she was put down due to a twisted bowel, which inevitably meant this talented young pony was never able to reach her full potential.
