Text Box: The 2002 MCSL swim season is about to begin. The Glenmont Gators are in Division K. Time Trials will be held on Saturday, June 15 at the pool, 8:30 am. We need lots of parent help to make Time Trials (and all meets) run smoothly.
Did you ever wonder how many people it takes to run a meet? From each team in a dual meet, either A or B, each team must provide at least 10 officials; Starter, Referee, Take Off Judge, 2 Stroke and Turn Officials, Clerk of Course, Assistant Clerk of Course, Head Timer, Head Scorer, Scorer, 2 Ribbon Writers and a Team Representative; plus 9 timers.
If we are hosting a meet we need parents to help set up the pool for the meet, organize and buy concessions, run concession and then clean up after the meet. There are also behind the scene workers: swimsuits, treasurer, automation, newsletter, roster and more. If you haven’t figured it out yet we need all parents to participate in some aspect of the swim team. This team is for your family. We Text Box: * Swimsuits *
