The following EOW software is only effective if used on 
or after August 22, 1999.

GARMIN EOW (End of Week) Rollover Software

Customers should only use this software for units marked for its use in GARMIN’s Year 
2000/EOW Rollover FAQ: http://www.garmin.com/faqs/1.html.  Use of this software is NOT 
REQUIRED for these units, but it will eliminate a temporary period of slow acquisition.  
The program is only effective if used on or after August 22, 1999.  The program only 
needs to be used once per GPS.  Discard the program after use.

System Requirements:

1.	IBM-compatible PC with Pentium processor running Windows 95, Windows 98, or 
Windows NT 4.0 operating systems and an available Com 1, 2, 3, or 4 port.
2.	PC Interface Cable for your GPS unit. The PC Interface Cable may be purchased 
through your local GARMIN distributor or ordered directly from GARMIN 
International.

GPS EOW (End of Week) Rollover Software

Use only on or after August 22, 1999.  Please see our Year 2000/EOW Rollover FAQ to 
find out if your unit can use this software: http://www.garmin.com/faqs/1.html 
1.	Download the self-extracting zip-file below into a directory or folder on your hard 
drive.  (i.e., c:\garmin). 
2.	Unzip the files into this directory by running the executable file (.exe). 
3. Run the file named GPSEOW to run the EOW program.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

This program uploads a new date/time to your GPS unit.  After receiving the new 
date/time, the GPS unit will search the sky to find satellites and collect new almanac data.  
After collecting the almanac data your GPS unit should function normally as before.  
Please follows these steps:

1.  Connect the GPS to a working communications, "Comm," port on your computer.
2.  Select the proper communications port from the "Comm" menu.
3.  Turn on the GPS.
4.  Ensure that the GPS interface is set to GARMIN, Host or slave mode.
5.  Click on "Upload Time" which is available on the menu or on the toolbar.
5. Turn your GPS off.  When turned back on the GPS will begin searching the sky.
