| I was born and raised in Louisville, KY by my devoted parents. My father owns and operates his own business as a machinist. My mother is a professor of Nursing at Jefferson Community College. I also have a 27 year old brother who is married and has two children. My brother owns and operates his own Chiropracting office in Crestwood, KY. My sister-in-law is a full-time mother raising my niece, nephew, and my brother while she finishes her degree. I just recently graduated from Western Kentucky University with my M.A.E. in Student Affairs in Higher Education. While in Bowling Green, KY, I lived with my 3 other roomates from Louisville, KY. We all graduated from St. Xavier High School. After St. X, I attended and graduated from the University of Louisville. My concentrations at U of L included Sociology, Psychology, and Engineering. Upon graduation from Western, I was hired as a fundraiser with Junior Achievement. My position as Development Manager at JA brought me back home to Louisville. After gaining some great experience, I had the opportunity to recruit for Western. I jumped at the opportunity to return to my favorite university. Not sure where this will lead but I am happy to be working on a campus and at Western. Education is a tool that changes lives. I want to be a part of designing and providing that tool which will open endless possibilites for students. It will take some time, but I will get there. |
