| I am currently a PhD student at the University of Liverpool researching patterns in English conversation and the use of patterns (lexical phrases, multi-word items etc) by second language learners. I was born and raised in St Helens in Merseyside, England, and have been living and working in Korea for the last seven years and I have also travelled around the UK, Florida, the Canary Islands and a number of Asian countries. Professional interests include teacher awareness, formulaic language and cultural aspects of language education. |
