On some nights you can find me chatting on IRC (Internet Relay Chat) in Efnet's #Christian_Singles under the nick SAINTSFAN. (A reference not only to my favorite NFL team but also to the real saints of the church. And no, I'm not just saying that because the team sucks, either.) I've made a lot of friends there. Here are some links to their homepages. Astericks * indicate people that I have met in person. And, to avoid accusations of playing favorites, I've listed them alphabetically according to IRC nickname.
*ACADIEL (Jon Guidry): Fellow Louisianian, Cajun, Catholic, and total nut! I met him online through Iceskater (see below), but we've become good friends in person too.
*DISCOGURL (Rachel Singleton): What can I say about Rachel....she is just so awesome! I had the pleasure of meeting her in person last New Year's and can personally testify that she is an awesome chick to hang with.
*DULCINEA/RICHCLARE (Virginia Cailleteau): Another fellow Louisianian (Baton Rouge to be exact); Virginia's a really sweet and funny chick!
HUGMNSTER (Jack Malone): A ham radio buff from Texas whose nick sounds like a muppet from Sesame Street, but is still a pretty cool guy.
*ICESKATER (Heather Wendorf): The first person I met from #C_S (actually she's the one who got me to join in the first place); Heather is a dear friend from Colorado (but a California girl at heart); she is just totally awesome!
*JAY21/SMOOTHY/etc... (Jay Whitehurst): The guy with about a thousand different nicknames (and about as many girlfriends to boot)! Jay is a disc jockey in New Orleans and a real ladies' man! (Hey Jay, can you hook me up with somebody?)
MIKEY (Mike McCammon): Not the kid from the Life cereal commercials. This Mikey has this strange obsession over Sandra Bullock. Oh well, at least you gotta compliment his taste!
NAPALMBBQ (Tim Gilbert): The guy with the weirdest nickname (and homepage) I've ever seen. Don't worry, he's not as twisted as his homepage makes him seem...I think. ;)
NIC-OLE/SKAGURL (Nicole Achter): An awesome chick who loves God and has excellent taste in music (and more CD's than I can ever dream of owning)!
*NEONSOCK (Cara Konger): Not only is Cara a sweet person and a good friend, but as of this June she will be Mrs. Jon Guidry! (See Acadiel, above)
ROADSPLAT (Dave Young): One of the strangest people I know. (I mean that in a good way...really!) Actually Dave is a really funny guy and knows how to keep me laughing!
SIMPSY (Howard Kim): Seven words: OOGA BOOGA! OO OO OO! ARGH ARGH!
STRAWBERI (Heather Gilliam): A really great writer; be sure to check out some of her poetry and devotionals! Heather's also a real sweetie, as you can probably tell from her picture.
YABOO (Chris Bothwell): Strawberi's boyfriend and a really cool guy. His homepage is mostly broken links and images and hasn't been updated in forever (and I thought I was bad at updating my homepage!), but still has some pretty cool stuff on it.

I really have more real-life friends than this; it's just that most of them aren't computer-literate enough to have homepages. Just wanted to make that clear. Whether or not you believe me is of no concern to me; I (and God) know the truth.
