half-time Glenswilly 0-7 Milford 0-5

Milford in the second half started to get control of the game and 3 quick points gave them the lead. Another 45 from Martin Sweeney leveled things up again. Milford hit back again with another point from Sean Barrett. Then Gerard McGrenra hit over a massive kick from over 55 mtrs out. This point lifted Glenswilly and in the final quater of the game it was all Glenswilly.

A ball hit into Milford's defence from Colin Kelly which hit off Peter Doherty and with Darren Nash off his line went straight into the back of the net. Martin Sweeney followed up this with a sideline ball which bounced over the bar. Milford hit back with another pointed free. Kelly got another point which gave the Glen a 4 point lead.

With Milford now pushing forward space opened up for the Glen's quick forwards and Ciaran Bonner hit another cracker right at the death which saved the Glen for another year.
