I clinched the Vice-Chair position for the 2006 Executive Committee of UJP-UP. This means more work next school year, but I'm ready for it

Among the nominees for the various positions were my closest friend Kathryn Raymundo as the sole contender for the Chair position, Batch Alitaptap's Annie Jane de Roxas for the Secretariat, Bulalayaw's Reynaldo Santos Jr. for Finance, Marlon Borreo and Jake Soriano for the Education Committee, and Alanah Torralba and Rowena Caronan for the Membership committee.

Kathryn, Rey, Annie, Weng and I cinched the respective posts we were nominated to, but Marlon and Jake had a tie. A special election was held last Friday, March 10. Jake emerged as the victor.

And so another batch enters the UJP-UP Execomm.
