The Senate No. 3: About Individualism

The Senate No. 3 (27/OCT/1984): In the morning; this is a good time to write. We have no problem with your time - it is your energy level that helps. The higher your energy level, the better for us. Also, we have trouble with getting the precise idea across if you are too preoccupied with other ideas. The best mode of operation for you is to be at a good energy level - in a good relaxed frame of mind, and alert to the energy flow from us. We can then send a steady stream of thought-patterns and concepts into your mind in the form of words with which you are familiar.

You need to develop as many concepts in your mind as possible. The more ideas you have accumulated in your awareness, the more flexible we can be in presenting fresh ideas, using concepts already on your mind to express the new idea. You understand that we cannot just fill a vacuum with clever and fresh concepts. You have many more ideas in your mind than you are aware of. Even the thought structures built up in your dreams are valid and useful. You could do much worse than have good, constructive dreams. The world is full of stuff conceived in dreams.

Now we come to a somewhat more serious theme. We want to discuss some ideas relative to reincarnation. We see that you have been through this philosophy before, but we may be able to give some additional beneficial thoughts. Thoughts, you see, are the things the whole universe is made of.

Reincarnation, like most religious beliefs, has elements of truth. But the truth becomes distorted much like the little Chinese girl's foot when she was forced to wear a shoe that was too small. The concepts could not be contained in the structure of thoughts built around it. Hence, we have a distorted and oversimplified set of beliefs known as the Theory of Reincarnation.

Why do we pick this subject to write about so soon? Well, reincarnation has such elements of spiritual truth that if we can get it in perspective, in terms of spiritual reality, we will have come a long way toward a clear picture of who I am and, hence, of who you are - and of that which you will eventually grow into. As sure as hens have teeth, you will not live forever in the physical earth. Nor would it be of any great benefit for you to do so. We have been where you are. And believe me, the earth-life has many benefits, but like any great gourmet meal, when you get a belly-full, it's time to get up from that table and take a walk. There are truly other great and joyful experiences in your patterns of being.

If you are to understand the fundamental concepts in the purpose of each life, you must first understand that each and every life does indeed have a fundamental purpose. Each life has its own stand-alone integrity. Each life has its own goals and purposes. Each life has a need for growth and for some pattern of stability in which it can develop and expand its horizons. A human life in the earth is not like the moon - the same old face showing on the horizon, all over again, shaped a slightly different way. Each lifetime is stand-alone and unique.
