The wool shirt and trousers are generally a "mustard" color, and pretty easy to spot. Some wool shirts (early war) have gas flaps just inside the buttons that can be folded over for "extra protection" against gas; they tend to be a little more expensive than the later war shirts without the flaps. The wool trousers should have a button fly and generally be the same color as the shirts. No trousers issued during W.W.II had a zippered fly; if they do, it was added later, after the war, or is a privately tailored item. Zippers were too difficult to repair in the field, and were almost always avoided by the army.
