Sounds
Sugar Gliders make a few differant sounds to express themselves.

Crabbing--- This is a very strange sound, because it's such a loud sound for such a little Glider. This is herd when you are either dissturbing its nestting area, or if it deosn't know who you are. It is most commonly maid by an un-taim Sugar Gldier. I think the sound sounds like a eletric pencil sharpener.

Barking--- Short barks that sound like little dogs. If you only have one Sugar Glider and it does this, it ussaly means it wants attension.

Sneezing--- When two Gliders are disagreeing over food they will make this sound. It probably means something like "go away."

Body Language

Depressed--- If you only have one Sugar Glider, and you doen't play with it often, it could get depressed. When it's depressed it will ussualy just lay down with its ears down too. It will also sleep alot, even at night when it is suppose to be active.

Defensive--- When a Glider does not know what your about to do it will try to scare you away. It will make the "crabbing" sound and stand on its hind legs and show of its teeth. It's a good sign if it bites you, and it doesn't draw blood. It's a good sign because that means it realy doesn't want to hurt you.

Happy and Playful--- When playful it will hop from side to side much like a ferret. Some times it will even hop all the way around lots of times in a row.
