[Begin outside of Sonic 2.0's fortress at night]
[Two Sonics are seen patrolling]
SONIC #1: You know... sometimes I wonder why we're even out here... There's nobody to
challenge "the one".
SONIC #2: No, there is that one group of rogues out there.
SONIC #1: Nah! They would never have the balls to attack us here.
[Camera zooms far, far above them]
[Tails' ship is hovering there]
[Camera zooms in on open door in side]
[Tails, Bass, Bowser, Mario and Knuckles standing there]
KNUCKLES: You sure you want to do this? I mean, we could stop right now and we would still
have time to head for the south pole!
TAILS: No. Bass is right. It is time I stopped running from Sonic.
KNUCKLES: Oh well. Your funeral. Good luck... you're gonna need it.
[Group jumps from ship and all parachute down to Sonic's Fortress, Bowser has 4 parachutes]
[Land in courtyard in middle of fortress]
[One Sonic nearby]
SONIC: Huh? What the- [Bass knocks him out]
BASS: *Whispering* Lets go!
[Group moves through the hallways, dodging Sonics, but comes to a hallway with lasers]
MARIO: Ifn we touch them beams our coversa gonna be blown!
TAILS: I got it... Just show me to a wall panel.
[Bass does so]
[Tails takes off the panel]
TAILS: Okay. We gotta cut the blue wire. Which one is the blue wire Bass?
[Wires are all blue]
BASS: Umm... this one?
[Cuts wire]
[Alarm goes off]
BASS: CRAP! There goes our stealth approach!
[Lasers turn off]
[Sonics pour into hallway from several doors (like in the Matrix)]
[Group fights through Sonics to other door]
[Group goes in and Mario locks it]
ALL: Whew!
BOWSER: Rawr? <What?> Snarl grrr? <Princess Peach?>
MARIO: What??
[Room has three cages, Peach and a few toads in one, Megaman and Roll in other, Treble in a third cage]
[Mario runs over to Peach's cage, Bass walks over to Treble's cage]
BASS: You alright boy?
TREBLE: Grrr...woof!
BASS: Hang on, I'll get ya out.
[Bass blasts cage apart, Treble hops out]
BASS: They misjudged our power, but that's a mistake they will never make again, right Treble?
[Both combine into Gospel Armor Bass]
MEGAMAN: BASS!! What about us? Let us out!!
BASS: *Chuckles* Why?
ROLL: 'Cause deep down you are really a nice guy...?
BASS: Lemme think... NAH!
MEGAMAN: Aw, too bad. Guess you will never prove you are stronger...
BASS: ... CRAP!! DANG IT! [Busts open cage]
ROLL: Yay! Bass, you're the best!
BASS: I'll deal with you later Megaman! I have a bigger fool to dispatch...
TAILS: Wait Bass. Take this. [Gives Bass a yellow gem]
BASS: What's this?
TAILS: It is a Chaos Gem. It was borne of the Chaos Emeralds. It was the secret of my supreme
strength when I was SUPER TAILS a long time ago. Keep it with you. Erm... just don't tell Knuckles
ok?
BASS: What will it do?
TAILS: Don't know, but it might just save your life. All you do is grasp it and call out to it with
your mind...
BASS: Sounds wierd but... thanks man. [Megaman gapes in surprise at what Bass said]
TAILS: Sonic 2.0 is here but... there is a level in this building which no elevator can go to and no stair can reach.
This level is filled with doors. These doors lead to many places. Hidden places. But one door is special.
One door leads to the source...
BASS: Sonic 2.0...
TAILS: Take him down Bass. We're counting on you.
BASS: I will.
[Bass flies through hallways at super speed and ends up outside. He sees one taller portion of the building]
[He flies through the wall]
[Hallway. Bass walks down to the end, with a huge armored door]
[He blasts it down and enters Sonic 2.0's chamber]
[Sonic 2.0 is sitting in a wierd machine (recharging him)]
SONIC 2.0: You managed to make it here... I'm impressed. But your luck will not hold out against me...
BASS: We'll see!
[Awesome Battle]
[Bass delivers final blow to Sonic 2.0]
[Sonic 2.0 malfunctions and falls to floor, twitching]
BASS: It's over...
[Fade out]
[At mushroom Kingdom]
[Two Sonics standing outside Bowser's castle scream and morph into two Koopas]
[Fade out]
[At City in Mobius]
[Two Sonics scream and transform into random Sonic characters]
[Fade out]
[At Dr. Light's Lab]
[Two Sonics scream and transform into Dr. Light and Auto]
AUTO: WHOA! THAT'S the LAST time I sniff glue!!
[Dr. Light stares at him]
[Fade out]
[Fade in at Cage Room]
TAILS: Bass? Did you do it?
BASS: *Dragging Sonic 2.0* Yeah. Here he is.
??? #1: NO! NONONONO!!! NO!! It wasn't supposed to happen LIKE THIS!!
??? #2: Not fair... not fair...
TAILS & BASS: That voice...
TAILS: Eggman?!?
*At same time*
BASS: Dr. Wily?!?
[Both appear in a floating pod]
WILY: BASS!!! WHAT do you think you are DOING??
BASS: What are you talking about?
WILY: I was using 2.0 as a way to conquer the universe with my good friend Eggman here!! We even
had the Dimensional Distortion Machine working!! What are you DOING??
BASS: WHAT?!?
EGGMAN: It was the perfect plan... we almost had everyone in our control, but you RUINED IT!!
WILY: WHY wHY WHY WHY!?!?
BASS: Should have relied on ME Wily. Shows what happens when you betray me.
WILY: You... you... AAARGH! You arrogant little...
EGGMAN: Cool it Wily. You don't need him anyway. 2.0 kept control but we don't need it either.
WILY: *Smiles* You're right. 2.0 bought us time while we pooled our scientific geniuses together
to create the ultimate weapon!!
BASS: What...?
EGGMAN: Prepare to be exterminated! You are all the only resistance to our rule over the universe! DIE!
[Both dissapear, building shakes]
BOWSER: RRRRROOOOOOOAAR! <Let's get outta here!>
[Everyone runs, and escapes building right as it collapses, but there is a new object there]
[Gigantic egg shaped tank stands in place with floating fists and a huge energy cannon]
[Cockpit is open]
[Eggman and Wily are inside]
[Cockpit closes]
BASS: Attack!!
[Everyone including Bass attacks it but nothing happens]
[Giant floating Hands swat everyone away]
WILY: *Over intercom loudspeaker* Our hull is a Myrillium alloy! NOTHING can pierce it! You all LOSE!!
TAILS: BASS!!
BASS: What?
TAILS: USE THE GEM!
BASS: Huh? oh, Right!
[Bass concentrates]
[There is a flash of light, a small glowing ball of energy]
[Ball of energy fades, Bass is flashing (full of energy)]
[Flashing dies away revealing him]
[Bass is now CHAOS GOSPEL BASS]
WILY: *Over intercom loudspeaker* What is this?
EGGMAN: *Over intercom loudspeaker* Erm... it is NOTHING! Kill him!
[Tank-thing shoots giant energy cannon at Bass]
[Bass absorbs it like it was nothing]
[Bass shoots huge energy beams, putting gigantic holes in the tank thing]
WILY: *Over intercom loudspeaker* That... that's IMPOSSIBLE!!
EGGMAN: *Over intercom loudspeaker* Oh no! Abandon tank!!
[Bass flies into ship using a hole]
[Gigantic Explosion]
[Dust clears]
[Rubble of tank is everywhere and Wily + Eggman are lying unconscious nearby]
[Bass becomes Gospel and then splits into Treble and normal Bass again]
BASS: Okay... NOW it is over.
[Fade out]
[Fade in hero's grandstand]
[Megaman, Bass, Tails, Knuckles, Mario, Bowser, Cream, Luigi and Roll standing up on Stage]
[Huge crowd cheering]
MEGAMAN: You did it Bass!
BASS: Well of COURSE I did.
MEGAMAN: How does it feel to be worshipped as a hero?
BASS: It actually feels kinda good...
MEGAMAN: Well, now that you have stopped being evil and even rescued Billions from
Wily and Eggman's clutches, we can be best friends!
BASS: WHAT?
MEGAMAN: We'll never have to fight again! Won't that be great? We'll go fishing, and play ping-pong
and stay up late together and go drinking and ... [Voice fades]
[Fade out]
BASS: CRAP! I DON'T WANNA BE GOOD ANYMORE! NO! NOOOO!
The End
