Purpose: The Black Moon are of a future where Neo-Queen Serenity and Kind Endymion preside over the world from their city of Crystal Tokyo. The Black Moon had been banished to Nemesis as evil-doers. Wiseman appeared to them offering the powers of the Dark Crystal to fight the Earth. Diamond, under the influence of Wiseman, tried to use its power and succeeded in destroying every person except for the Royal family and the sailor senshi who fiercely protected their Queen. The only way to win, Wiseman decided was to journey to the past and capture the Earth before the senshi could gather enough power. However the daughter of Neo-Queen Serenity had a similar idea to different effect, to gain the help of Sailor Moon and fight the evil which threatened her home. The Sailor senshi were able to fight this new threat but eventually realised the need to fight the evil from the future in order to properly defeat it and to add to this, along the way Chibi-Usa was taken by Wiseman becoming possibly his most powerful villain, Black Lady.

A giant indigo coloured crystal was descending over modern-day Tokyo. The senshi transported themselves inside to find Diamond and Wiseman. Along the way Sailor Moon is taken by Diamond who tries to convince her to join him as his Queen, professing a love for her. She does the opposite and makes him see how Wiseman is manipulating him. Wiseman comes to confront Sailor Moon killing Diamond in the process. All the senshi try to fight Wiseman and they are all defeated, then Moon and Chibi-Moon change into their Princess forms once more to finally kill the Wiseman.
