Purpose:For the final season, a few new things were brought in such as the Three Lights or Sailor Starlights searching for their Princess Kakyuu. The villains are all Sailors too. Galaxia is the most powerful of senshi from another galaxy. She seeks the star seeds from the 9 planets of the solar system to become all powerful and defeat the senshi. Once found, Kakyuu reveals that the senshi have to fight in something called the Sailor Wars against Galaxia and her Sailor Anima-mates.

Defeated:In the final episodes of Stars (and of Sailor Moon).

In the final battle against Galaxia, the Inners perish first, then to try and destroy the anima-mates, Neptune and Uranus sacrifice their seeds for the bracelets Galaxia uses to control them. However this brings the two Outers under Galaxia's control and they kill Saturn and Pluto. Neptune and Uranus try to turn on Galaxia and steal HER starseed, but after discovering she has none, Uranus and Neptune are quickly removed by Galaxia. Now with all seeds, Galaxia hurts the Starlights with her summoned Black Sword and attacks Sailor Moon. Moon is hurt, her starseed removed but she manages (with a little help from Chibi Chibi) to recover, fight Galaxia and turn her into a good sailor.
