Hair: Long and straight chestnut brown coloured hair with a few prominent gold dyed streaks. When down it touches the middle of her back and is perfectly straight and quite thin, but she usually wears it in two high bunches.

Eyes: Large and full of expression. Dark hazel in colour, Mell's eyes are very 'smiley' eyes and help add to an air she has about her of 'cute'. When irritated though her eyes become quiet different and good at expressing her anger.

Skin: Pale - midtones. She has a few light scattered freckles that appear on her cheeks in very sunny weathers. She prefers to stay pale although she does tan easily to a good golden colour.

Build: Slender and petite, she is not overly skinny and has a well toned figure from all her sport. She has some femininity but is still quite slim.

Dress: Mell is envious of Cassie's quite grungey style but has a flair all her own. She loves wearing skirts and sarongs over an assortment of trousers, smart or of the baggy-jeans kind. Or she likes to wear stripey knee high socks with mini skirts and cute little t-shirts

Hobbies: drawing and painting, bargain shopping in markets, watching soap operas (she becomes very attached to the British soaps), using computers and learning japanese

Weaknesses: Jealousy when she feels a bit overshadowed. She hates people interupting her or being unecessarily mean and while not quick to temper, her tongue can be very sharp. Mell can also be a bit of a ditz and annoying at times.

General

Very happy-go-lucky girl, more mischievously cute than beautiful in terms of her looks, enhanced by her tendency to wear her chestnut hair in two high bunches. As a senshi, she is less powerful than Leo or Aquarius but far exceeds both of them in terms of her strategy and battle tactics despite her lack of academia. Mell is highly committed to her role as a senshi, having survived like Leo on her own for a considerable amount of time in her home country.

Strangely for her outgoing sparkle, she tends to get on better with quieter people; she can talk to Esa easily and opens up the silent Teimei and Nagi. This attraction to the more timid explains how she is affected by Ariel. She tires easily of the lack of restraint of the three Chibi-Sailors with a low tolerance of all three. Usually laid back but she cannot stand people who never ever let up or are too forceful, maybe because she can feel overshadowed and her own personality is then inhibited from shining through. (Tired and annoyed that the spotlight is not on her perhaps). As such she can clash with Ariel, which immediately brings her into worse conflicts with Athene, but a lack of a temper in Mell means she tries to avoid all arguments and shies away at the sign of raised voices. Yet she still finds her love and best friend within the group in Duo, probably because his brand of talkativeness is less harsh and brash than the twosome of Athene and Ariel. She enjoys his more comic relief to life and a ‘silver lining’ approach that matches hers. Unlike Esa and Cassie, Mell is definite over her sexuality and has acted as a reasoning factor to help Esa and Cassie understand their feelings, to see the positive out of their depressions. Mell is the Princess of the outer planet Pisces, in the future her marriage is to Zoisite (Zoi was with Ami in the past but Ami is now with Lita after Umino). She is discovered in Perth, Australia by Scorpio, her guardian and then at the urging of Libra and Aries, Mell’s fate is twisted so that her family move to England for Mell to be with the other Zodiacs in time for the arrival of Teimei.

Senshi Appearance:

Normal - Classic white senshi fuku. Short bows and tails in a sky blue colour. The gloves are elbow length and topped with three navy coloured rings. The skirt is a soft pleated skirt also navy and topped with a plunging v-shaped band. The collar is amber, with two white stripes and fastened on her chest to the bow with a gold disc bearing her engraved planetary emblem. The footwear is white knee-high boots, a band of navy around the top and inset with a gold oval-shaped gem.

Super – Very similar to the first incarnation of senshi except for the addition of thin transparent chiffon ‘wing’ like sleeves protruding from only one round sleeve. The front bow is still short although the tails grow longer to be knee length; the colour remains sky blue though. The gloves are still elbow length and topped with three navy coloured rings, and the skirt is still a soft pleated skirt in navy topped with the plunging v-shaped band. The collar is still amber, but now with only one white stripe and fastened on the chest to the bow with a gold heart emblem bearing her engraved planetary emblem. The footwear is still the white knee-high boots, a band of navy around the top and inset with a gold oval-shaped gem.

Eternal – The fuku is still a white bodice but the sleeves have now become ‘bubbles’ in a very light purple-blue colour and supported by two dark navy rings around her arms. The front bow now has three layers, in sky blue and becoming progressively darker in shade to a mid-sky blue colour with the layering. The back bow is still one layer but the tails reach to the ankles. Gloves are elbow length and white, although the three coloured rings are partially obscured as the main glove extends into a hard and very sharp piece of material. This is detached from the senshi’s skin so that when she bends her arms, the material sticks out like a blade. The skirt maintains the same colour but now consists of three layers, the second layer being a lighter blue/purple and the third practically white, the skirt also has a dual band shaded a light blue for the lower band and a darker blue on the upper fastened in the middle with a gold star. The collar is still amber but stripeless and the fastening is a gold star decorated with the Astrological sign as an inset piece of gleaming light blue coloured Agate and a smaller ball of aquamarine just above. The boots are dark blue (almost navy) and thigh-high with a stiff sharp piece of material at the top shaped into a triangular shape again to act as a blade.

Items & Weapons: A long silver staff which hold the Crystal of Justice. This adds an extra emergency safeguard to the battle but it uses up much of the senshi's own energy. The crystal gives Pisces her 'protection' name - The senshi protecting against injustice - and has a great use. It will be used to ascertain wether it is worth Virgo using her Virgin Heart Power and will also aid in unconcealing disguised enemies. She chants 'Pisces Crystal Power Staff Energise' to use it.

‘Normal’ attack - Pisces Siren Melody - she lifts her arms above her head and summons an image of a mermaid of light which emits a very high pitched wail which in itself summons light in the shape of fish which 'swim' towards the enemy scraping them as they pass as well as blinding the enemie's sense with light and sound.

Super attack - Pisces Eternal Rain - she touches the stone of her tiara then points out her finger at the enemy from which a ray of blue light turns into a jet of water and wraps itself around the enemy as a cage of water

Eternal attack - Pisces White Squall Smash - summons up a white wave around her body which covers the enemy completely hitting them with successive waves of energy.
