Faerie shamanism is a earth based religion that work in tune with nature. I will explain the basic of faerie craft .The faerie craft is way of living. There are many skills expected of those who get involve themselves with this tradtion.
Much has been written over time about the fay or ancient ones ,However most of it was forgotten and lost or with modern times . Over past few years faerie tradtion has been very elusive religion. Today some of this lost craft was found and some of it lost though passages of time. The fay tradtion has alot of
responsibilty and way of thinking when working in shamanism. Karma is one of the factors in any magickal tradtion, what ever you send out will come back to you 3 fold. This means if you are using magick for negative reasons you will get negative results also. The fay tradtion is a postive way of working with people, nature and magick. A shaman is a healer and a guide not a power tripper for personal gain. Shamans also have to work with the forces within himself and heal himself, before he/she can help others. He/she must use his/her powers wisely.Here are basic rules of faerie tradtion.. I feel is important
1.-" Do what you will and harm none" that includes all livings things
2. Karma- accepting resonsibity for you actions
3. Faith- this is a big one also you have to believe in yourself
4. Intent - what is reason behind you wanting be a shaman
5. Will - Are you willing to learn and take the time to practice and study
6. Openmindedness- you have to have a open mind to learn and gain wisdom
7.Compassion - show feelings for others and respecting them.
8. Do Not Judge - Shamans never should judge anyone like other faiths.
9. Be Yourself - stay true to yourself you be happier and enjoy life more
This is what i think shamanism is all about , You will find alot of opinions and traditions of magick . Learn from others and find one is right for you.
