Here is the place where I will try to project as much information surrounding Ian's TV showings, like episode of Casualty that Ian is currently staring in. If you have any recent news that isn't on this site, please email me

Ian was due to appear on Nicky Campbell's Radio 5 show last Monday, but due to a family illness this appearance was cancelled. However, he rescheduled this and appeared on the show yesterday. My friend Louise spoke to him and this conversation can be found
here. We also found out that Ian is 35, and his birthday is infact on the 17th December.

I've been indulging in extensive reading to try and find a synopsis which reflects the Xmas storyline the best. This can be found in the Radio Times but here it is if you don't get it:

"When Patrick Spiller is found face down in a woodland stream, beaten half to death, the police think he is beyond help. Luckily, Lara Stone is on hand - by the time the paramedics arrive she has brought him back from the brink. Is her concern purely platonic?"

Also, Rachel tells Patrick that she is leaving her husband to be with him. Patrick, who isn't looking for anything serious, runs from the problem and Rachel, who is visably upset, ends up crashing her car on the way home and dying.

Looks like we have a very eventful Xmas coming up!

Ian was on GMTV this morning with co-star Christine Stephen-Daly and they revealed a couple of rumours about Casualty this Christmas! On Boxing Day, there is an extra episode in which Rachel's husband beats up Patrick. Lara finds him and has to save his life by performing mouth to mouth. Apparantly, according to Ian, they do get together, and he is leaving in March. Ian is also making an appearance on the Nicky Campbell Show on the 11th December. Get Real...Casualty (which was shown after Breaking the Spell 2 last series) will be shown on the 12th December at 8pm.

TV TIMES: Casualty will be shown as usual on 22nd Dec. There will, however, be an extra episode on the 26th Dec.

Casualty Hunk Ian walks Out On Show

Telly heart-throb Ian Kelsey has quit Casualty, the Sun can reveal. Ian, 34, who plays the dishy doctor Patrick Spiller, will shock millions of women fans with his decision to leave the hit show.

New bosses of the Saturday night BBC hospital drama have launched a hunt for a sexy new male star. Ian, billed as Britains answer to ER hunk George Clooney, is now in talks about a string of top drama roles with the BBC.

Last night, a spokeswoman said:
"Ian is leaving at the end of this month but will be on screen till March. He is one of our biggest stars and will be very much missed. But he is leaving on good terms and we are planning a fantastic exit storyline. We are now looking for a hunky new doctor."

Ian, who dated Coronation Street's Tracey Shaw, played the lead in the West End musical Grease before joining Casualty in 1999 in a £200,000 deal as Registrar Patrick Spiller. Casualty's 8 million viewers are currently glued to his flirtation with sexy new doctor Lara Stone, played by stunning actress Christine Stephen-Daly, 28. Script writers are working on a scene where Spiller could meet his death by trying to rescue some children from a disaster.

A show insider said:
"Many of our female viewers will be devastated. (Ian) is currently working very long hours which is taking its toll. He is in so much demand because of storylines with Christine are massive"

(And the Holly storylines *weren't* massive?)
